Yeah it's necessary to reserve one. This is a new system we're talking about. Everybody and their momma will be trying to get one.

Yes. While I don't think it will be PS3 bad, if you want to cop day 1, reserve is a must.

PS4 pre-orders doubling Xbox One at GameStop


With the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 both having their retail price announced at E3 last week, gamers can finally begin pre-ordering their next-gen console of choice. And with that, early data indicates the PS4 is ahead of the Xbox One in pre-orders by approximately three units to two during the period between Monday, June 10 to Wednesday, June 12. DualShockers has put together a nice little comparison between the two consoles, but over the weekend we found out a few more details.


The PS4 is outselling the Xbox One by two units to one at GameStop​, a GameStop representative told GameZone. This was according to a local retailer who didn't specify whether this was chain wide or just at the individual store; however, I think we can presume, given what we already know about the two systems' sales, that the PS4 is outselling the Xbox One overall. Whether it's at a rate of two to one everywhere is still a bit of a mystery.

I've been reading a lot of talk about battlefield. I've been playing cod all the time this generation. How do they differ?

Battlefield gives you dedicated servers.
People say Battlefield is more realistic.
Battlefield is more about team work and tactics.

Yup. It's not like cod where dudes can go do there own thing.

Why not reserve if you are interested.. At best buy it's only 25 bucks

Either way, I'll just wait and see what information comes out about it. GT6 will keep me busy I'm sure, so I may just go with the PS+ version.

Gotta go pre-order Killzone. Still dont know what other game(s) I'll get at launch. Drive Club most likely.

I was going to get drive club but why not get the PS+ edition then pay the little extra to upgrade it to the full version.

I would take the Sun with a grain of salt. It's one of those trashy tabloids even though it's very popular. The poll they had though was very useful. It pretty much shows which way the UK would go if things stay as they stand.

Another overlooked thing about the PS4 is the feedback the controller is getting. I think everyone just expected the XBone controller to be better but then you hear things like this

That being said, the PlayStation 4 controller may be the best thing since sliced bread.

It’s hard to measure the controller against its peers without having a variety of controllers right next to each other, but the DualShock 4 feels larger in my hand, with a much more rounded design where you grip the controller. It’s also slightly heavier, and the overall design rests against the natural curves of your hand in a much more natural way.

My first thought when a developer placed the controller in my hand was the following: “Holy ****, that’s nice.” It takes a bit to work backwards to figure out everything Sony did in the design to get that reaction, but there you go.

It felt almost too good, like I was holding something illicit. I was afraid it would be taken away. It felt like the first time I touched a girl’s breast in the backseat of a car with fogged up windows, scared that her parents were going to fling the door open and start yelling at me. I wanted to grab the controller and run. I wanted to nuzzle it against my face and ask it who is a good controller? Who is a good controller?

The 360 controller is the best controller I've ever held.. it was the most comfortable and everything was placed perfectly.

I hated the DS3 cause of the thumbsticks felt weird to me.

I like how the new ones are inward looking similar to the 360s controller. It looks good so far hopefully it feels as good as it looks

The new DS4, does feel good...feels much fuller in your hands... i guess that the best way i can describe it....the trigger are nice.

The new Xbox controller is a bit smaller then the 360 version, the shoulder button might annoyed some people tho, the sticks are a bit smaller too but has a nice solid feel too it.
