The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

I'm assuming you'd have to pay for the service or at least pay for each game you want to play?

I do want to play Last of Us and Heavy Rain.
no body knows yet but probably have to pay for the service

doubt theyll charge by the game

now that i think about it, in some sense itll probably just function like PS+ does right now

gaikai's bigger than that though

Same here a lot ps3 games that I want to play. I saw some rumors that it was going to be $100 a year.

Heads up!!

Here is the BEST Deal right now on Playstation Plus memberships:

View media item 451352
$10 off for the 1 year membership = $39.99

$5 off the 3 month membership = $12.99

You can stack the membership right now if you have X amount of months or years if you are an existing PS+ membership. My PS+ membership is up for renewal this August.

I myself will be copping a 1 year membership card this Friday when I pick up The Last Of Us at my local Best Buy store.

Even with prime membership? And they don't charge until it ships right?

Yup each retailer: Gamestop stores, Best Buy's, Walmart, Etc, and Amazon are given a certain allotment number from Sony on how many pre orders they can take to guarantee day 1 launch date orders they can meet.

Care to elaborate?

For example, say on call of duty it would take longer for me to get on match compared to the 360 which is almost instantly. Mind you this was before my ps3 crapped out with the YLOD.
That has LESS to do with PSN and MORE to do with Infinity Ward / TreyArch servers.

:rollin

Dudes really be blaming PSN for EVERYTHING

******g terrible :{

If you have a ps3, you don't need a ps1.
If you buy a ps2, you don't need a ps1. Although, you will need a ps1 memory card to save ps1 game saves.

PS2s are still on pricey side used.

Go to a Goodwill or something similar. I see PS2 for $5.00-$10.00 all the time. I used to buy them and trade them into GameStop for more credit.
