The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

I've had disc drive problems on every ps I've ever owned, 2 of my ps3s became unusable cuz of a dead disc drive. That's the main reason I'm going digital this time. I'd rather deal with long download times and having to delete and reinstall games than having to buy a whole new unit

That’s a reason I didn’t want the digital version. I’d feel a certain way having to delete stuff I paid for just to make more space.

 there is no reason for this in 2020 and beyond I’m positive you can use an external ssd hd on the ps5. Games on psn go on sale regularly and are cheaper than physical and it looks cleaner in the living room not having a bunch of game boxes displayed. Better for the environment also less waste. Got the disc version but majority of my games will be downloaded.

Here is an article related to it

Seems like companies haven’t learned how to optimize the GBs yet.

Reminds me of WWF Smackdown Just Bring It - 4,173 KB on an 8 MB memory card. I didn’t realize it was that big until it was time to save a year or so later in Kingdom Hearts and I couldn’t.

Did you guys pick up any accessories yet?

I grabbed an extra DualSense, PULSE Headset and camera. I don’t even know if I’ll use the camera yet, but if I do, y’all make sure to hit that follow and subscribe button

just scooped the PS+ deal, but I just reupped about 4 months ago. Does it “stack” if I redeem the code now?

All that white going to kill my dark entertainment setup, it definitely looks clunky.
