I agree. I used to tell my brother that FF VIII somehow looked worse than FF VII and I never understood why

I’m more bothered that they haven’t showed anything outside of midgar, show me a town or something even for a second...ff7 is a huge game and midgar is only a small section of it. A lot does happen there to start the adventure and I feel it a big part of the story and can take a few hours but how many episodes is it gonna be at this point, it seems like 8-10 lol.

Now the game does have summons as shown from the dlc In the $329 collectors edition...so your first summon is supposed to be outside of midgar at the chocobo house that’s some hope at least.

I mean it looks like they are adding a lot. Maybe Midgar is fully explorable. Maybe we do more than blowing up 2 reactors with Avalanche this time? We won’t know til we get it.

I’m just excited that it looks so good. Hopefully, part 1 is done and just getting some polish while part 2 is being worked on. Don’t need to much time between parts

I think it's because the FF8 character models are more proportional(bigger) so the imperfections are more obvious whereas in FF7, the character models looked like stuffed-animals.

Avengers game reveal was disappointing.

Why couldn't Marvel choose a different studio besides Square Enix to produce and develop the game.

Marvel got it right by choosing Insomniac Games to develop Spidey .

I don't think Crystal Dynamics was a bad choice per se, they just have a huge expectation to live up to based on the success of the movies. The graphics were disappointing but I'll reserve full judgment until I see some gameplay.
