The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

I got the PS4 Spiderman bundle a few days ago (only had a Wii U prior) and while I'm not a huge gamer, I do really enjoy playing certain types of games like Zelda, Mario, Uncharted, God of War, Tomb Raider, Resident Evil, etc.

I'm not nearly as knowledgeable about PS vs. Xbox like some of you guys, but I can say from my perspective (for whatever little that's worth) that picking up an xbox never even crossed my mind. I was 100% on board for finally getting a PS4.

edit: I didn't see this posted yet:

PS4 wireless controllers for $25. $15 with $10 FB mobile app coupon. Instructions can be found in Slickdeals comments. I won't be certain about daily steals until I actually receive the controller.

Could you speak on this a little more?

The goal two generations from now is to ditch physical media entirely. Eventually you want almost all physical components to be gone. How do you accomplish this and how do you get people to be ok with it? That is going to start to be addressed in this next generation.

Is their goal to have it all be digital downloads or are they trying to move towards a streaming service like psnow?

Damn all GameStop stores within a 15 mile radius of me sold out of God of War

Go on the GameStop website. I managed to get that and Horizon with free shipping.

Hit Gamestop and only left with the Spyro Trilogy
:{

They were sold out of Horizon and that 59.99 2TB HDD. Might go online real quick to redeem myself. I feel empty handed.

That sucks man............but I'm also slightly not surprise, b/c Gamestop's "Black Friday sales" actually started on Monday of this week.

So this Monday was your only "guaranteed" chance to pick it up at $10 :(

GameStop will have another sale before Christmas I'm sure.

Regret not picking up that Mario Christmas sweater yesterday.

Yeah, none showing up locally by me. I was on the fence cause Walmart playing games with my PS4 order. I was supposed to get it today but for some reason there was a delay.

Now the $17 God of War is showing as unavailable online and the only ones by me involve paying a $15 toll to pick em up

Bought a 8 series 65inch Samsung for $1000 off today. Wanted the QLED, but just couldnt justify it.

Looked at PS4 Pros but decided against it. Ill wait for PS5.

Side note; I stopped at 3 stores and every store was sold out of the Spidey bundle.

I’m glad I at least copped a couple PS+ subs, otherwise I woulda came outta this empty as far as gaming. Also, tangentially related, but I copped a receiver and 5.1 speaker setup, so I’m ready to make the step up beyond good headphones for gaming :hat

Any new games added to the backlog?

Wasn't able to secure the 12 Month PlayStation Plus Subscription for $39.99. Do you think it will be that price Cyber Monday?

I did manage to secure a Dualshock 4 in the Crystal colorway for $39.99 and NBA 2K19 for $29.99.
