The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

Makes you wonder when did they start Destiny 2? During Taken King or before?

Most likely immediately after the Taken King was released considering there is zero signs of the 2015 April Update concepts in D2 at all............that one quality-of-life update in April 2015 was the biggest game changer for Destiny, and it made the game end at its highest potential.

Its missing something but I'm going to stick with it. I'm sure the D2 Taken King like update will blow our minds

I just want to plat D2. After that, I'll be done. There's plenty more to play.

COD WW2 has been enjoyable so far IMO. I like the campaign and multiplayer.

What i really want is to see someone release a dang black friday add with a good deal on the PS4 Pro.

Getting rid of Gran Turismo sport. Can't take getting rammed off the track by crazy drivers and getting hit with 10 second penalties/lower sportsmanship ratings anymore

Will copp WW2 in the future. Played Infinite a lot this weekend and I forgot how much I love that game. When WW2 is 30 bucks I will copp. I bet it is :hat

COD is flames. I don't car what anyone says. Quick competitive MP

I had to take a break from IW man. that game be mad fast paced sometimes and you just get MAD focused. joint be having me mentally exhausted.

WW2 is dope tho man, when you get it ill be down to play it

Finished Lords of the Fallen over the weekend finally, and it was interesting to say the least. Game was hella buggy at times like app closing and audio being completely gone in some parts but it was kinda dope to play. Nowhere NEAR as god as any other souls-esque game but it was fun in a Batman and Robin "its so bad its good" kind of way.

Gonna start The Last Guardian and Inside next.

New reason to grind for them trophies now if you are part of the Sony Rewards Program (Only for U.S. gamers tho)

https://www.polygon.com/playstation...ystation-trophies-rewards-psn-store-discounts

PlayStation trophies now can earn discounts on the PlayStation store

Some changes to the Sony Rewards programs mean those who earn trophies in PlayStation games can earn points that are good toward discounts on the PlayStation Store.

Under the terms, earning 100 silver trophies is worth 100 points, 25 gold trophies net 250 points and 10 platinum trophies — which are awarded for earning every trophy a game offers — gets 1,000 points. (This offer is good for U.S. gamers only).

Currently, 1,000 points in the Sony Rewards program gets a user a $10 discount voucher on PlayStation Network. The other catch is that a user must be signed up for the Sony Rewards program and have their PlayStation Network account linked to it prior to earning these trophies. Sony isn’t awarding points for someone’s prior work, in other words.

For those looking to grind their way to discounts, this still represents a lot of work. Getting a platinum trophy is no small accomplishment and usually involves several lesser trophies for specific achievements.

If it’s an older game, and the trophy is for an online event, it may not even be possible to collect that trophy if online support is turned off.

The Sony Rewards program also offers discount codes, or points for things like signing up for trial programs (four in all), subscribing to PlayStation Network services or buying and renting movies. This page has all of the details. But again, none of this accrues until the user links their account to the service (so if you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber and haven’t yet, that won’t count). And it’s only good in the United States.

That sucks. No rewards for prior trophies!
Bad Religion could possibly get a PS5 when it drops if they did!

Get a few platinum trophies - and get a game half off. Not upset about it.

Gives you more of a reason to actually FINISH AND COMPLETE YOUR GAMES.

But if I was Empire, Ricky, or Sappy I'd be REALLY upset right now

i completely understand the reasoning for not counting prior trophies but it makes being a part of the program more worth it. it also gives me an even greater reason to play my older games now because i can just stock up on games for cheaper.

ill say this tho, if you guys are looking for easy plats, the Telltale games that have them are super easy. just beat the game and you'll get it.

I dunno - I liked the story and the crucible. Music is dope but I have no desire to grind for drops etc.
I love the lore and all the story but I feel like the hooks to keep me in during the lull between content is messed up. I don't feel the need to log in every week
