DO you guys want a direct sequel, FF XV-2? I'd rather them move on from the XV universe. Tie up lose ends with the already planned DLC and let's get the ball rolling on FF XVI.

Move on. There really is nothing else they could set up. In other sequeled FF games there was atleast something that could tie in the new story with the old. Dont know about this one. Maybe a prequel that focuses on Nfilheim

FF VII had the prequel game, vincent side story, and advent children they could tie in with the OG story.

FFX had the eternal calm and a life for all the inhabitants of Spira without having to worry about the threat of sin.

FFXIII had the fall of Cocoon.

I dont really see what FFXV has. Maybe the end of the empire and life after that but the world wasnt fleshed out enough for them to add anything to it.

I liked FF X-2. It wasn't the best by any means but I enjoyed it. If I had not played FF X, I probably would have put it down. That being said, it has one of the best combat systems in any FF game.

There's nothing they can really do to make a sequel for the game. The ending isn't the problem with the game but how the game gets you to it which is the problem

I like the current set up

Main game + Side story DLC+ DLC bosses.

I'm hoping not much staff is working on the season pass and DLC or most of it is complete and they have most staff drafting or throwing around ideas for FFXVI.

FF's main problem is the amount of time in between games. People said the franchise went downhill after XIII and that was because there was nothing after it for ages to wash the bad taste away. Whoever hated XIII carried on hating the sequels to that game as well.
One game isn't enough to ruin a franchise this good and FF is divisive enough so lets just keep it to one game.

A spinoff would be nice, something similar to Lightning Returns with one protagonist and an updated battle system but only if it doesn't delay another mainline game.

Yes. I beat ffx the week before I started X-2. The leveling/combat system is still a little confusing to me but I'm not knocking it on that basis. It's just the characters aren't interesting to me or the sphere hunter storyline.

Just feels like there's no real conflict or threat and we're just treasure hunting with Yuna and friends. Like I said, I'm still in chapter 1 and I assume I haven't hit the meat of the story, so my opinion may change.

I beat Dragonslayer Armour, Oceiros and Ancient Wyvern today. I also joined all the covenants minus the one I missed due to fighting a boss too early. I got 24 hr duty again so I'll be farming quite a bit tonight

I'm level 93 but trying to get like you

I need to use that helm. I never have.

But imma start. Farm the night at the lothric castle bonfire.

Kill him and rest at the bonfire. Kill again. Rinse repeat etc.

The next bonfire after that has a night with a shield. I believe he gives you 4400 Souls. You could farm that wit that helm too.

I also have a ring that gives more Souls. Not sure what it is called though.

Be careful though. I OD farmed .

NG+ has been cake.

And I know we talked about it, but we gotta commit to DS2 SOTFS

Actually, I didn't realize that the symbol was a different helm from the other ones you get from killing those chests. Once you get it, farm those nights

No need to farm the helm. There are 13 mimics in total. After you kill the 13th one go to shrine and return back to the mimic. The helm will be dropped there.

Ludwig? He gave me some trouble too. He's definitely one of the hardest bosses in the entire game.

Pure frustration. The puzzle design is really dope though.

    Want a Alternate story that uses FFv13 plot....Tabata did it with FF Agito and Type-0 I dont see why not; there are alot of fans that want to see it happen.....

   And speaking of DLC, yeaaaa they definitely ran out of time and had to cut somethings out
