Let me get this right. The boss bought each employee and a variety of patients ~600 tickets, and each person got a couple to "wholly own as their own"?

Wouldn't this technically fall into a "pool" type setting legally speaking? I can see some salty lawsuits coming.

Little Bertha, a coworker of this winning nurse picked her 4 tickets before letting this lady pick hers. Or they let this lady go first because "shes nice". Maybe this nice lady let others go first, and she "picked" last.

What am I missing?

How can you sue when no money was exchanged between the employees? They gonna sue because the woman got the free ticket before they did? Employees gotta take that L and move on.

Welp. Nevermind. She didn't win either. Misunderstanding apparently.

Real winner hasn't come forward yet

is that jared price really one of the winners? I was thinking fake

And smh at people I folow reposting his account about to delete every single one that did that nonsense...

not a bad idea to fake you won seeing how many followers and likes hes getting from instagram and then use the account for marketing

It's fake but why do people care enough to follow and/or like that lame? I'd be salty about not winning and then go back to not giving a damn

People man I swear...same people who swarmed that 7-11. Get a life, B

No its a gift because before the drawing the ticket has no cash value.
Also if there isnt already a precedent set that establishes an ongoing lottery pool with regular players the other employeses will have
a hard time proving that it was a pool.

U.S.
A Powerball Reimbursement Go Fund Me Page Has Been Created
Shenequa Golding,Vibe  15 hours ago

A woman by the name of Cinnamon Nicole from Cordova, TN has raised a little more than $800 in seven hours via her Powerball Reimbursement Go Fund Me page.

Nicole alleges to have spent all of her money on purchasing tickets with the assumption she would win the $1.6 billion jackpot, but soon realized the winning tickets were sold in Los Angeles, Florida and Tennessee suburbs.

Despite the chances of anyone winning the jackpot being 1 in 292.2 million, Nicole still decided to go big, and unfortunately now can’t go home because she allegedly doesn’t have any money.

Please help me and my family as we have exausted all of our funds. We spent all of our money on lottery tickets (expecting to win the 1.5 billion) and are now in dire need of cash. With your small donation of at least $1.00, a like  and one share, I’m certain that we will be able to pick ourselves up from the trenches of this lost and spend another fortune trying to hit it big again! PLEASE, won’t you help a family in need. DONATE NOW.
For your charitable donations, Nicole promises to make you her #MCM or #WCW. Yet, despite the gall of the Go Fund Me Page, some users simply weren’t in support of her attempts.

Sonya Hagans quoted new viral internet star, Michelle Dobyne and wrote “Not tuhday” while Kenyatta Gibson was a bit more spirited in her response.

“Guuuuuuuuuuurl…….I ‘SWEATERGAAAAAWD’ if I see one person give you one rusty copper penny I will spend ten times what you spent on lottery tickets on PLANE tickets to fly to their humble abode so spoiled in riches that they can afford to make it rain on Sweet Brown like ratchet humans such as you who choose to spend their cash on Remy, Flaming Hot Cheetos, VOSS Water and Powerball , and commence to kicking every single one of their *****!!!”

Can you really be mad at her for trying?

i remember one lottery winner taking 3 years to come forward. dude made sure all the legal work was finalized first. smart man.

Tenn. Couple comes forward.. I feel bad for them.

Why go on TV? They obviously love the attention. I believe you are entitled to merely show up at the news conference initially. And then you can be ghost. They seem like the type to be at casinos nearly 24/7 on their time off. Stereotypical lottery couple. I guess thats good theyll be able to pay back some debts. Lottery will be happy that they will be playing again soon.

Unless you feel you'd be dead by the time you claim it (looking at the lady, shes close), there is no positive benefit for claiming so early. It still takes some 2-6 weeks for that money to be transfered over. I'm guessing they have some loan offers now until then. "We'll give you $1mil. Just pay us back $1.2 mil when you get your check".

They are playing it by the book of what NOT to do.

I just saw them on the news today. I hope their story can put to rest some of these "sure fire" theories some people have when playing the lottery. Dudes saying to never do quick picks, buy more tickets so you have more chances, etc. etc.
This guy didn't even want to play so he bought 4 quick picks. HE SPENT $8 . Ain't no strategy to this. It's completely random

I think every lotto winner says that. "This is my first time". Truth comes out that he bought 10 more sets at 10 other gas station, and the wifes picks never get accounted initially. Unless you are 100% truthful, the real truth will come out. Best to just stay silent.
