Yep...mines the 2011 15", as well.  It's been better lately...but it seems to happen more often when I have iTunes running and my browser opened at the same time.

I've got the "blackbook" and was planning on selling mine for around $350, so 300 should be a good price if it's got the same specs. Mines 2.2 ghz c2d with 2 gb ram for comparison

how many cycles did you go through? and did you have apple care? cause they replace mines free of charge cause of my mac is on apple care and fell under the cycle requirement to get a new battery.

I'm about to get my first mac in a couple months! Finally makin the switch from pc to mac although I have to say I always hated macs but that will all change soon.

Probably trying to unify the whole Apple experience. If someone with a PC buys an iphone or an ipad and loves it and is used to it, switching to apple os on a laptop with such a similar interface will seem less daunting and make it easier.

damm you had 343, they will handed you a free battery under the applecare, how much did you get your mac for btw and which mac is it.

Also once again Applecare is boss, I was having glass speration on my macbook pro. I'll be getting it next week Wednesday though, (got my Google chromebook holding me down) but for them fix it under apple care it cost nearly $500 that's including parts and labor. Since i had applecare it was no charge. Hoepfully they can't fix it and they hand me a refurb macbook with beffier specs

How do you guys compare Apple care to Geek Squad protection?

I worked for best buy and Geek squad protection seemed better because of its accidental damage protection.
