When was Romo ever doing anything with social media or doing any extra **** in interviews before he got the commentator job

None of these in-game commentators do any of that stuff. That’s the pregame and halftime dudes that do all that.

Tomy Romo did SNL promo and did skits with James Corden, and plenty of commercials though. People knew he had personality before he even retire, kinda like Peyton & Brady.

Any former player and coach can talk Xs & Os all day and bore us to death, but as an commentator that's only half the job. There's a reason why players like Romo, Tebow, Peyton, Ray Lewis, Strahan are getting jobs.

Pre, post & halftime commentatoring is the driving force for media.

XFL drafted their entire league over the Internet.

I watched a good chunk of it.

Not one issue... you are absolutely right. They are over complicating things by a wide margin.

literally just get every team to give 2 contacts to confirm the picks.. layer things beyond just the initial contacting individual

within the teams, you build a multi tiered system, if fails pop up
