Russ is who is at this point. He played with more great players than any other star in the league and still couldn’t accomplish much. He’s regressing in every category stat wise. There is no denying his passion and how hard he plays, but that doesn’t win you basketball games. We’ll have a sold out crowd regardless of who wears a Knick jersey, but I’m gonna need shooting and IQ at this point. Two things we lacked in players since 2000 and 2013

but realistically, you aren’t going to win with a player like him because he’ll also end up making a costly mistake by either pulling up for a 3 at a bad time or give up a bad turnover as we saw last night at the end of the game.
