Hope he wins though. Aldo has been the Champ for too long

Why such slim odds for Conor to win
His two biggest criticisms
1. Never fought a wrestler
2. Level of competition
Absolutely legitimate claims, 100% fact
Aldo isn't a wrestler
The level of competition Conor's faced hasn't been exceptional by any stretch. I just hesitate to use that as a barometer in determining his odds against Aldo. What exactly about Aldo makes this such a one-sided affair, we know it's going to be a stand up battle
Conor has a lot of size for this weight class, height, reach, movement and in my estimation exceptional precise striking with legs and hands
I give Conor at least decent odds to pull this out
Lol what? What is Chad Mendes then? One of the best wrestlers in the lightweight division and he had a hard time taking aldo down and got destroyed in their first fight. Mendes only two losses came from Aldo he was destroying that division. When Connor loses I want him to fight Mendes. I bet Mendes would win 2. I don't believe in Connors hype. His best competition was someone outside his prime in his last fight and I was not impressed.
0% chance,
How many "unbeatable" fighters do MMA fans need to see lose before realizing that this sport is basically unpredictable.
I don't think you understood what I was saying in my post at all. Why are you talking about Chad Mendes and the lightweight divisionLol what? What is Chad Mendes then? I was scratching my head and was like Wha but I see he mistakenly wrote the wrong division.I don't think you understood what I was saying in my post at all. Why are you talking about Chad Mendes and the lightweight division
i don't want to see pettis curb stomp diaz. barboza would be a way better fight.
Yes, Michael Johnson has been looking really really good, he was the first name I thought for Pettis' next opponent. But I guess he's campaigning for a fight with Bendo which is cool too
Give Pettis: Barboza or Diaz
Masivdal is solid but compared to the top of that division I don't think he has what it takes, the top of the food chain is just insane
maybe i'm too high on jorge but i think he schools al. as long as jorge grapples. al seems like he's just throwing bombs all the time and is catching dudes who are known to leave themselves exposed. dont think ive seen jorge get ko-ed or even dropped before but who knows.
Jorge has a really big fight already with Al Iaquinta. Should be a great scrap and will propel the winner to big things
i was goign to say the rankings are moronic if masvidal isn't considered a top 10 fighter... but the division is just that stacked lol. i forgot about myles jury / tony ferguson. bobby green, jim miller, and cerrone are dead money imo.
I feel like there's something in the water in that camp with Serra/Longo. I favor Al slightly in their fight but if Jorge wins it's really time to give him a top 10 fighter

It's all good, my overall point was that it was going to be a standup battle. I think Conor has a decent change due to the factors I listed in my previous postSorry I misunderstood. I thought you were saying that Aldo never faced a wrestler or competition. And yes I wrote the wrong divison. My apologies.
Did Silva ever move to Greg Jackson like he planned?
Erick Silva tonight, I still believe
