Just nervous if a fighter needs serious medical attention on the scene. Most doctors on the west coast are overworked now - UW Medical has been insane and I know it’s the same in LA/SF.

I can't imagine this fight happening in CA under their commission. It would be quite a statement for them to sanction, considering they are one of the leading commissions in the country
That said, if they secured a reservation then they won't need the CA commission. They can sanction it themselves
The island idea is also a way to get away from commissions, they would get to sanction it themselves as well
Either way, ringside physicians are going to be really interesting to monitor... some of the leading voices are opposed to any combat sports continuing

This is true. They should be looking to do this in a part of the country that this hasn’t hit that bad in case there’s need for immediate medical attention from a hospital right afterwards. Or else Dana will face insane backlash and all his plans will be shut down. I live on the east coast so I don’t know what state out west hasn’t been hit that hard though.

Yeah imagine these dudes having to fly back to their home state and get treatment at a covid infested hospital. He’s gonna have to have a plan to keep dudes on the island for days at a time if necessary.

Fly them out to Hawaii then to a private island in Fiji?!? I know Fiji has private islands you can buy/lease. Or maybe somewhere in the British Virgin Islands, this is near Richard Branson's Necker Island. Dana will fly them out to Florida and then have them take a private jet lol.
