"The Last Dance" Michael Jordan & Chicago Bulls Docuseries

If you can provide some sort of evidence that supports that claim, we can talk about it.

Stress doesn't discriminate.

31 or 26.

3 deep playoff runs is 3 deep playoff runs.
I brought up their ages to say they weren't old and worn down. They were still relatively young, so that's one advantage in going for 4 straight.

Was hoping that the gambling talk was gonna lead to more insight into “Jordan went and played baseball because of gambling debt” type stuff. Seems like they mentioned it so Jordan could say, “see I didn’t have a problem!” And they are done with that storyline already.

I’m starting to ageee with Ken Burns on this one. Doc can’t be considered a great dive into Jordan’s life and last season because you have HIM sitting in front of the camera giving interviews.

it’s basically a OMG look at how amazing Jordan was and how much he overcame type story. Which I’m fully enjoying. I just thought it would be edgier and that I would learn something new. We’re nters, we BEEN known all this stuff :lol

Yeah, they’re not gonna dog that deep.

I still think it’s dope that he cleared a lot of this stuff and that he’s willing to talk about certain things.

As for the 4 straight argument. They would’ve made it to the finals in 94 had Jordan returned, and they would’ve made it in 99 had they kept the team together. Who in the east would’ve beat them in 94? Not the choking hawks, definitely not the choking Knicks who needed a hue hollins phantom call to barely squeeze past Chicago without Jordan, Indiana wasn’t beating them.

As for 99, I doubt the pacers who lost to an 8 seed knicks team would’ve beat them. This is around the time the east started to really suck too. They could’ve likely came out the east by default until 03 if they kept the core together and made tweaks roster wise at the role player level.

As for beating the 94 rockets and 99 spurs. That’s debatable. But no one in the east was beating them in a best of 7 any of those years at full strength of Jordan never retires.

The summer of '93 didn't end on a good note, so there's still a lot to cover. This is the most revealing look into MJ's world that we've ever gotten from him outside of a few books and a HOF speech. So, this is almost sensory overload for casual basketball fans

If only the Bulls had brought the red away jerseys instead of this one.

I’m still in awe that I was able to win the only raffle I attempted for this colorway. I just needed one and got it! 🙏🙏🙏

They need to Re-Release ASAPp

I'd be surprised if Jordan made the Finals in 1999. By then, Pippen and Rodman were already gone. Mike would've had no help.

Hence the if they kept the group together part. If Reinsdorf worked some type of olive branch with Pippen and Phil and told Krause to fall back, they could’ve kept it rolling. Maybe you bring Rodman back, maybe you don’t. But role player wise they could’ve filled in pieces. The rest from the lockout would’ve done them wonders.

From 1998-99 to 2002-03 the east was dumpster juice. The 1999-00 Pacers were the only team that had any type of chance of beating the west winner over that stretch.

I’m not saying they would’ve kept winning titles past 1998. Those Spurs and Laker teams were legit as well and would’ve gave them problems. Especially as they got older. But after seeing Lebron dominate a weak east year in year out, I just can’t see any of those east teams beating them. The east didn’t have a team capable of winning titles again until the larry Brown Rasheed Wallace era pistons.

You dont want a discussion. You want an argument. I am not here for that. I have many opinions. But I do not want a repeat of a few weeks ago. I dont know why you @ me. I hope everyone likes this series as much as I do.
I never came at you with an argument, maybe you have me confused with another person from that discussion.

I want your honest opinion on the topic.

Although I’m enjoying the documentary I did think it would be more edgy. Would’ve been cool to get insight on his family/marriage (at the time). Would’ve been cool to see interviews from the kids perspective.
