2nd all time YPC, single season receiving yards record holder, 2nd most receiving yards in a single game in NFL history, 3rd most receiving yards in a players first nine seasons, behind Torry Holy and Jerry Rice, and only player in the Super Bowl era to average more than 120 yards per game for a whole season.

Need more?

Yep. Not top 20 in yards or TDs. Who is really gonna look back at a player years from now who's not at least top 20 in the two major WR categories with 0 playoff wins and consider him top 10? Ha ha ha

Serious question. Would you rank Vick above Terry Bradshaw? There's no question Vick was the better athlete and had a bigger arm. It also wasn't his fault he didn't have the HOF players Bradshaw did. So Vick is the better player correct regardless of how much Bradshaw won.

Funny.... Michael Irvin isn't in Top 20 in neither either
hahaha

Irvin led the Dallas Cowboys to 3 SB titles. His teammates vouch for his leadership. They call him playmaker because when Dallas needed a first down in the clutch moments he came through under PLAYOFF PRESSURE. He also matched up against 2 of the greatest corners who ever lived in Sanders and Green. He retired due to injury. Not because he was sad his team was garbage, took his ball and went home. He also played with the ALL TIME LEADING RUSHER. Dallas was a run heavy offense. Nice try.

That's why I say aikman was only good because of the players around him.

On the subject of quitting, who here believes if the Lions were SB contenders coming off a great season CJ would have still retired and NickFolarin NickFolarin would still be moving on to the Jags?

CJ81 will be considered top 10 all time.

He's a receiver, he can't control if the quarterback can't get him the ball.

Yeah but his QB got him the ball a lot. Like that game when Kam knocked the ball out his hands as he was going in for a game winning TD.

K. Time to unsubscribe to the NT NFL thread.

Dude had over 750 touches and fumbled 14 times and you want to talk about one fumble in September?

Take it up with his Dallas teammates. Who doesn't know Irvin was the vocal leader of those teams? It sure as hell wasn't Emmit with his "rice of passage" self.

You said Jimmy was better then Gronk cuh? You should have been unsubscribed.

Why does September matter? Most people would say the playoffs carry more weight then the regular season. Except in CJs case because his team. When I bring up other players showing up in playoff moments its discounted because their team was good. You can't have it both ways.

Calvin had one of the greatest games a wide receiver has ever had in the playoffs though.

We'll see once CJ becomes HOF eligible how long it takes him. Shouldn't be long according to some of you.

So did Timmy Smith in the SB for us. You putting him in the HOF, top 10 category too?

Timmy Smith hold the single season receiving yards record?

The Cowboys were one of those legit stacked teams.

Players to the coaching staff to front office to ownership.

Nope. Bet Calvin would trade that for Timmys ring though. We can look back and find all kinds of players who had great careers on sorry teams. Yet nobody puts them in top 10 categories. The vast majority of the greats if not all have some type of post season success. Can't nobody give me a example of one who doesn't though.

It's funny how those who claim he didn't quit haven't quoted my post saying if the Lions were SB contenders he wouldn't have retired. My points gets ignored when I make em.

I'm just wondering what else Calvin could have done to make the Detriot team win playoff games
