I think it's partly because K stopped going after the top recruits and the percieved lack of success Duke players have in the NBA. Everyone knows I hate onDuke more than anyone but that is pretty stupid to say they don't have success in the league, when Duke>>>any other college in the league rightnow.

That's a better lineup than any other college could have.

I seriously think he feels some type of way after due to early departures.

Elton Left early
Avery Left early
Corey Left after 1
Lu Left after 1
Shawn didn't even make it to campus


after that I think he just swore off that type of talent that can make an instant impact out of fear that they will and then declare... which has really hurtsus when we play teams like Wake, UConn, Louisville etc... those who have extremely athletic play makers

He needs to get off of that, there is only soo much that good talent and great chemistry can do compared to great talent and good chemisty. i'll take thelatter all the time.

Im a Duke fan, but im a realist, and Duke players Haven't projected well in the League overall...they have nice roll players(battier, Duhon) but as far asstar power the only player i can think of who had consisten star power was Grant Hill
