Since OOC play is over and conference under way...

What yall got for a review/look ahead so far?

- Still going with ASU to win the Pac 10

- Georgetown, Uconn, Duke, Gonzaga the group of 4 most suited to give UNC a game right now. Louisville is pending...

- Got to be Harden vs Griffin for POY when it's all said and done.

- All Freshmen team so far : Monroe, Samuels, Landesberg, Aminu, Shumpert. Honorable mention: Holiday, Warren, Forston.

- Wake Forest is getting a reality check soon ; @ BYU, UNC, @ BC, @ Clemson. 2-2 would be damn good in that stretch.

- Blake Griffin does not have the help (interior especially) for Oklahoma to make a run.

- Coach K, III, Huggins, Tubby, Purnell

- BJ Mullens will come around with better conditioning, but still overhyped.

- Baylor + West Virginia = Underrated.

- Stanford = Frauds

I've seen every game other than his best to date (Drexel). And he's been as consistent as anyone on the team.
Foul trouble has been the only thing to slow him down.

Last years game yall won makes me think it's capable of happening again.

Even if they didn't have Lawson--I know he's a big piece..

but when teams know each other that well...1 game is well in reach for a team like Duke.

Ellington is probably the key, for anyone. He needs to be off.

that teams roster sucks. nobody over 6-8 who can play.

He did stink it up (with everyone else tho) against Minnesota.

Just Pitino mixing and matching like always trying to find a solution with this group.

...And no, there really is no room to argue with Lawson being the best Pg right now.
 
I think there a few guys I'd rather have on my team than Lawson, Jonny being one of them..

He's got a system to his strengths and talent all around...but he's playing lights out himself.

I wouldn't take him, but I can't argue against him right now.
 
^ Yeah basically.

I think the best PG overall is Flynn but no one can run that UNC offense like Lawson. And since they're going to be national title favorites, have a greatrecord, and he will continue to have good #'s I don't think he can be denied first team.
 
^ So you mean to tell me that if you put Jonny, Ty, A.J, even Sherron in that line up they wouldn't be doing the same +!%# if not more because each ofthose PG's offensive game isn't limited to just drives to the basket or fast break points???
 
Flynn - I can see how doing well, not as good as Lawson, probably the next best option.

Tyrese Rice - Hell no.

Sherron - No. Dude is not as good as NT makes him out to be.

A.J. - as in Price?(Long Island

Pargo - No.

No PG can run that offense as well as Lawson can ..
