So i was reading more about it cuz i originally thought she was physically injured when i saw she withdrew. Didnt really pay it much mind just kinda glossed over the headline. "Twisties"? Thats what its called right? (Im not into nor follow gymnastics, i know nothing about it). Its like the yips basically? If thats the case how can you blame her? Its not like baseball where worst case shed fling the ball 20ft to the left. She could break her neck doing all those moves. People are fried smh.

yea.. i mean i aint going pretend i'm some gymnastics expert or anything

most personal experience i got is that i messed around with a chick who was a gymnast in high school for a lil bit AND i knew how beat up her body was and the demands that sport put on her

but just practically speaking i know the stupidity people say about sports in general AND that's the ones they actually regularly watch.. look at how many people watch football and how many people you think actually know how truly valuable guys on the DLine are beyond sack numbers?

they had peaty and james guy swim in the prelims of the mixed medley.. peaty was 57 flat and duncan was 50.58 on the fly

as long as michael andrew goes sub 58.5, US mean should take the medley pretty easily.. and as long as apple can be sub 47.2 on the anchor

ryan murphy will give the us a lead of at least a second probably more on the brits.. dressel should be another second or more difference between the fly legs.. and apple is better than who they have left to swim free since duncan has to swim fly

This is it. Biles has the 'twisties' which are the gymnastic equivalent of the 'yips'. My wife was a gymnast and said they are NO joke. Your body knows what to do but your brain can't respond. That would explain why she looked 'off' in the prelims.
