We all have a recessive gene for 6 fingers. But in today's society, a 6th finger doesn't benefit you more than having 5 fingers.
If we travel into space and 6 fingers somehow helped us to thrive in space, the 6 finger gene would eventually become dominant instead of recessive.
Then you'd have humans in space with 6 fingers and humans on earth with 5 fingers.
It would take forever. But that's how evolution works.

The defending champ Schooling in the 100m butterfly performed so poorly last in his heat, his compatriot in the previous heat was even faster than him.
His form hasn't been good but didn't expect him to perform that badly.
The 4x100m mixed relay is interesting depends on how the teams choose to allocate who swims which leg.
Am from Singapore and a local broadcaster showed an interview with him post heat and he didn't seem that disappointed.
