the guard position is the hardest to defend. because every night you are going up against someone who is eithr really good, really fast, or crazy athletic. center and power forward position is easiest to defend, then small forward.

Defending guards - especially PGs - is also harder because you have to deal with being screened on a majority of possessions.
 
prime KG defense have it all

1-5 positions, anchor a defense, etc

shawn marion ain't guarding a center though...but yeah there was a reason shawn marion was the highest paid suns player ahead of steve and stat.
 
First Take's argument was Nash vs Iverson today. Nash had a prime Marion and Amare. Iverson had......

Really all about preference and Nash is a great player and all, but AI changed the culture. One of a kind.

I dont think he'd be able to lead that Sixers team to the Finals.

Clueless as JR is, it's really a testimony to his natural talent that he's lasted in the league as long as he has.
 
Funny thing about JR Smith having that mentality is that he's NEVER been a teams #1 option...since High School.

The fact he really thinks like that and has been a 6th man his entire career speaks volumes.
