if not i might just go to the maryland deathfest since it would be cheaper and closer

as for MDF man if i end up never seeing Bolt Thrower i will regret not going last year. Autopsy this year though is gonna be

Bythe way from what I've heard Lightning Swords of Death is like a Satanic Black Metal Group. Sounds no different than the other Black Metal Groups comingout.

most? no. most bands (like slayer) portray that image just do it to piss everyone off

then of course there's black metal, particularly the second wave with majority of the bands coming from norway. these bands and followers are responsiblefor church burnings and such youve prolly heard of.

some black metal artists do practice satanism like varg from burzum or inferno from gorgoroth. while some black metal bands or metal bands in general are justanti-christian/anti-religious.

sometimes i feel as if the whole satanist angle is a gimmick, or trendy, or whatever you want to call it. many who ascribe to it do it to be different or togain some form of acceptance among their peers. immortal (one of the most popular black metal bands) for example openly admitted not being satanist andliterally labeled themselves as sell outs in an interview lol. so not all bands worship the devil. on the other hand...




^clip is from "metal: a headbanger's journey". check it out if you can. it talks alot about the stereotypes of metal and the culture. alot ofpeople i know who dont even like metal have found it interesting and even entertaining. you could prolly stream it from youtube or video google but alot of thevids have been taken down due to copyright infringement

or, you could wiki black metal but i find the documentary more eye opening for metal newbies and the uninformed public

It's pretty much a stereotype. If you ever get into metal and start listening to a lot of the bands you would start knowing when you see thelyrics. But Physicx covered it pretty well on black metal. That's the genre that does consist of lyrics in which involve devil worship. Some groupsmention it also because it is an interesting topic.

was expecting more once i heard the title track. hard to top spectral especially since changing vocalists

not that i was expecting this to be good or anything, but !!#%

i still liked the album, but after further listening it was a bit too different. wolves of chernobyl is piff though

less power metal and more keyboards please. high heels on cobblestone was mildly entertaining though (no cob stan)

havent listened to industrial in awhile but rammstein was one of the bands who got me into metal so i figured sure, "what the hell?" that pretty much summed up what i thought of the album. what the hell

was expecting more from these guys but i guess i have to lower my expectations for 2010. my standards are too damn high nowadays
