i was at the school fair thing today where they advertise frats and student groups. on impulse i joined the heavy metal on campus group. seemed like coolpeople and they said they were carpooling to obituary and i was welcome to join them. the group itself focuses more so towards underground local bands butwe'll see how it goes

Damn I wish they had that at my school but then again I'm going to community college fml. Thank God I'm in my last semester there. Thats cool you metsome fellow metalheads a lot of people I know listen to rap. Anyway what school are you going to Physicx and have you started yet.

my orientation was yesterday and today. i start classes tomorrow. i STILL dont know my way around too well. i guess thats what i get for wandering off andgoing to the library during the tour to post on niketalk

whats so bad about cc? i was planning on going for financial reasons plus its a little bit closer. i decided against it because my best friends go to the u ofa

i shouldnt be talking. i was in math class and i did not know what the HELL was going on. apparently we were doing review but i never took high school calculusso it was all new to me. we were moving so quickly through it i couldnt even take notes

but yeah, that is what metal is for. i was so pissed that i just blasted some brutal tech death on the way out of the room

bcf, im still undeclared for my major. id like to say it will be some sort of science but i think i would be getting ahead of myself. who knows, ive only taken2 classes so far. all i know is that it sure as hell wont be math

My major is Accounting and I hate math but I do o.k if I apply myself. I just finished taking Business Calculus last semester and made it with a B. I'mjust finishing up my bascis but starting next semester starts the meat and its starting to sink in. If I could change my major I would but I'm half waydone to just do that but here in my city the Job Market is big Accounting so it won't be hard for me to find a job when I'm done.

I attempted to like 3 years ago but couldn't get the hang of it..Taught myself the keys so I thought it'd be a cinch..

I always wanted a drumset but never had the room for it..One day soon

^^My 13 month old son has a set of toddler drums. I know im sounding like a dad, but he has great natural rhythm and even though he just bangs on them willynilly it actually sounds better than I can drum lol. I used to play guitar in middle school and took some lessons my freshman year, but from then on it waseither sports or music since my parents couldnt afford both. And I went with sports lol. But hopefully i'll be on the guitar again soon.

Why do we talk about school so much? Hahaha. Im a Civil Engineering Major with a Double in Naval Science (ROTC officer training FTL) In all honesty, I want tochange my major to psycology but im far too deep into school to change now. It would basically be a waste of 1 and a half years.

Sorry to hear about your loan problem Physicx. How are you going to pay for school now? Anyway nice to hear about your son Rust. My little nephew is about 10months and he loves to hand drum the table. I'm thinking of getting one of those drum sets for my nephew too once he gets a little older.

i went to school early the next day to talk to someone in financial aid. they told i could appeal it which i did. if i can get them to reconsider and loan methe money just for tuition i might be just fine. my parents will pay for it, but id rather them not you know what i mean?

im also enrolled in some introduction to popular music course on thurs evenings. there's a chapter called, "...heavy metal?"i swear to god ibetter ace that assignment when it comes

. also our final assignment which is worth a large portion of our grade is a review sort of thing on a concertthat must be sometime during the course. im prolly gonna do it on bodom since i have vip tickets but im considering obituary because there are more bands thereplus a better venue. another option is the ensiferum and hypocrisy show.

Damn it Physicx what I would give to be in a class like that. By the way I missed the Petal to the Metal tour yesterday but a friend of mine told me that thefrontman to Suicide Silence said that they are coming back to my town for Gigantour. It's going to be Megadeth, Machine Head, All that Remains and SuicideSilence. I can't wait to go see this because Dave Mustaine said they had been going over all their albums from the earlier years and they are planning onplaying a lot of old school songs they haven't played in a long while. Stuff from Killing is my Business and Peace Sells. I guess songs like Skull beneaththe skin and Good Mourning Black Friday they need to play more from So Far So Good So What besides In my darkest hour. I guess they got the news people weregetting tired of the same stuff being played over and over. Plus a lot of people have been saying their shows haven't been all that great.
