Your very welcome Kev, I'm confused though in the auction pic and in the other site where I have seen them the swoosh was a neon yellow colour but in yourpicture it looks like a goldenrod yellow which one is it? either way there bloody nice.

On the whole though this working together stuff is great, even though I'm tied up in negotiations with my shoes its still nice to see other people find theshoes they are looking for and what have you.

i already knew it wasn't going to be neon after looking on the 1thology site. 1998 obsidian/varsity maize-white. very nice material. i was extremelypleased when i opened the box. although there are a number of things i wouldn't mind having, i am now officially broke until march (kinda); however, pleasekeep the links coming and if a pair of knicks canvas highs come up in good condition (not the ones with a ton of heel drag on yahoo) i will steal the money.
*edit* i guess now i can give the credit for my orange canvas and the obsidian/maize nubucks to you now paul since it seems like you been blown up. youand oli are to blame for my poor checking account - it needs a jolt from the defibrillator.

lol Kev, it's cool if I get blown up I'm only providing the regulars in here with help since you guys have been waiting the longest and obviously wantthese shoes the most, and I'll be on the look out for those canvas highs for you.

951genius I can't go into to much detail on the Ivory snakes since there is around 3 or 4 people that want a pair, but the only place you have a goodchance of finding those is Japan or Korean sites.

Here is a picture of what I wore today when I had collapsed on the floor in a heep after I finished taking some collection pictures lol.

I Love AF1 thanks but those aren't pick ups just some random pics I took, also you shouldn't have to worry about building up enough money to purchasefrom Japan. Since your still in your early collecting days ebay should have more than enough stuff for you, that way you wont have to pay extra on any biddingservice fees, thats how I started my AF1 collection years back.

I agree with the eBay thing. One example is my Carolina Blue Jewel Mids. But the good stuff is pricey on eBay as well (and hard to come by)...ohwell
