Is getting a phone number not how things go now days? i see dudes geeked up if they get an IG or snapchat by the end of the night. If a chick tried to give me a screenname before the digits when I was flourishing id feel disrespected and move on to the next chick.

Unfortunately, long gone are the days of grabbing a chicks number unless she's REALLY feeling you off the bat. Idiots and weirdos who stalk/can't take a hint/can't deal with rejection has made it so girls feel SAFER providing their social media to you first (especially if it's public) so they can feel you out before you're privileged to the phone number. However, if you don't get a number after three exchanges on social media then she's using you for attention, not interested, or both.

Be real tho, how often do you come to DTLA from SM?!
DTLA is probably the fastest growing area in LA right now. Many things poppin up left & right and people are taking notice.
Will it have the luxury that SM has to offer? No... but it's providing an element that young adults are gravitating towards, can't deny that. But there is the Skid Row component of it that will continue to be a big eye sore to DTLA.
People stay within their bubble/comfort zone in LA. People on the westside stay west, and vice versa for people closer to the city. I can vouch for South Bay, as I work in the area. Hermosa pier & Manhattan Beach hasn't let me down
There's options of ladies everywhere in SoCal
