Student fighting a teacher.

Nah, I didn't utter a word to that sucka after that situation. It happened in NOV, he left middle school in June.

I saw him on the street when he was in 10th grade, he just looked like he wanted to do something
That's unfortunate, what exactly triggered the friction between u 2?

In short, another student left his bag in my room.

"This dude" came and tried to get the other student's bag.

I said, "Nah, dude has to come get his own bag."

"This dude" said I was acting like a b**** and pushed me.

I did a simple go behind and applied a Chicken Wing.

He was trying to headbutt me for about 15 seconds and then he gave up when he realized there was nothing he could do.

Security eventually came and took him away.

But dude was a big soft sucka that was spoiled by his mother. I remember a meeting earlier in the year where his mother told me, "Mr. ___, you are too hard on my son." But her son rarely did work and routinely disrupted the class, so let me know what I am supposed to do MOTHER.

So it was brewing for a while.

Teacher should go to jail

if you can’t restrain yourself around children...don’t teach children

100% respect to you and your family, but I feel this is a common belief for those that don't work in the profession. Talking to most folks at my spot, they completely agree with why the teacher did what she did.

I know we "shouldn't" LET a child take us THERE but again, teachers are human man. Nobody PLANS to get out of character, people snap and there is no way to simulate SNAPPING. So nobody can truly say what they would/wouldn't do.

And threw a chicken wing on my freshly mopped floor

Good catch :hat

Nah that that brat decided to be an adult that day so she got that adult fade
Bingo.

Kids like being kids when it is convenient for them.

They can act like an adult when they are coming out of their mouth with all types of disrespect but when the fire comes back in their direction they are "just kids."

We keep fostering this society where kids are free of consequences. Keep it up and see where that lands us.

I mean if your standard is the police system then we all lose
teachers shouldnt be hitting students
That teacher didn’t need to swing on that student

now she is going to jail
Everyone loses

Now tell me...is it worth it? Did this kid learn their lesson?the teacher didn’t prove anything
She got her *** whooped in all honesty

Why are you so sure that kid didn't learn her lesson?

Unless you are defend yourself from an attack, keeping your hands off the ****ing students.

If you can't, find another ****ing profession.
Ding ding ding.

The "teachers are human too" narrative is such ********. I'm an RN--we get violated/abused in a lot of different ways by patients and family members. That doesn't give me or my colleagues an excuse to lose our composure.

Had a situation like this a few years back when I worked in management. An aide was showering a patient and either the water was too cold/the aide was too rough/whatever, but the aide got slapped and decided slapping the patient back was the best way to handle the situation. It was witnessed and immediately reported to me. I had to walk the aide out of the building and tell her not to come back until we could have a meeting with the director and a union rep on Monday. There was no sympathy, no leeway, and no understanding from me. The only bit of advocacy I gave her was to tell her to find a good attorney, because her certification was in jeopardy (at the very least).

The day my thoughts start heading in that direction is the day I start looking for indirect care positions or a new career altogether.

She said, “I’ll ****ing kill you.” ...at the end of the video

and she beat the teachers ***
Yea she was still IN the situation though.

That isn't a reflection of what she will/has learned FROM the situation.

It’s really that simple

In no way does this help anything
1. It doesn't help anything.

2. It isn't right.

Maybe you and I are having two different conversations.

This is what I am saying.

It is EASY to say what someone should/shouldn't do from the sidelines.

Most people can have NO CLUE as to how they WOULD respond to a situation, until they ARE in that situation.
