Let me tell you a secret to beating Vega....jump at him and push him into the corner.
Vega has, count it, 1/2 of an AA (anti air) and doesnt have a reversal.
Scarlet Terror (flipkick) gets stuffed by just about everything or trades (and trades are NEVER in Vegas favor since his stamina is so low).
The only options a Vega player has on wakeup is (3K or 3P backflip, both of which are punishable if you pay attention), block, and jump back fierce.
Blanka, Bison, Rufus, Rushdown Kens, and Boxer (only when he gets you in the corner) just murder Vega.
Basically anybody who can keep the pressure on gives Vega trouble.
Fireballers are lunch for Vega though.
Keep jumping in with meaties and you'll have Vega's pissed....of course unless we have Ultra...then we're waiting for you to jump.
But be warned, constant jumping only works against noob Vegas who dont realize they can air throw.
Also you can focus claw dives (not izuna drops though.)
And you can do a reversal at any point doing his roll after the first blocked hit, timing is kinda strict.
The roll is so damn slow that i honestly doubt you'll ever get hit with it unless they use lp version and cancel that off something.
I main Vega so i know him fairly well.
