Look at push ups as reverse bench, and bench press works out your pecs primarily, and triceps secondary.

For shoulders i often do Shoulder shrugs (up and down, not back and forth cuz this may mess up your rotators)

Overhead shoulder press
Incline bench
Lateral dumb bell raise

and since I do pushups is that a good workout for my chest/triceps, then I can use weights for other muscles (shoulders, biceps, etc.)

Push ups is definitely a good work out for chest/triceps. But if you're at the gym and equipments are available then i you should def. varyyour work out with other exercies for your chest/biceps like bench, fly, etc

A buddy of mine whos a personal trainer told me that all he does is cardio and major exercies (bench, dead lift, squat,...) because these exercises targetmultiple muscle groups. Like bench. He never works out his triceps cuz he knows everytime he benches a good session then his triceps are fried.
 
Cheerios taste pretty good, but they're definitely not the best cereal out there.
I love dried fruits. Lately I've been snacking on them. Dates, cranberries, raisins, etc. Anyone mess with goji berries or any of those super foods?

Crunches and sit ups put tons of pressure on your spine. In addition, after 10-15 reps your ab muscles become null to the work out. Lately researches recommend to eliminate these 2 exercises from your routine.

You should do:

Plank
Side Plank
Leg raise
Bicycle kick
V kick
Grab bag

And other exercises that require your abs to work as secondary support, you know, those that make you brace your abs really hard for better result like lunge, dead lifts

You cannot spot reduce in the attempt to see your abs. Doing crunches or any other exercise until the cows come home, won't make any difference unless youreduce your overall body fat. Simply put if you want to see your abs, eat well, eat clean, do cardio. I know many marathoners who don't do any ab work atall, yet have wicked definition in most places that many wished they had.

Got damn that sandwhich is incredible, definitely a nice meal if you want to take a break from your normal eating schedule.

Almond Peanut Butter? That stuff is 2x the amount of my already organic PB... although I might try it sometime.

Is there anyone else who exercises and craves healthy food? Lol. I need to remember to eat less junk food, and more proportions (similar to junk food binges)on my cheat meals..
 
its ok i work out like 6-7 days a week on avg.

Honestly, just use it. Most likely no one will say anything. It's one of those general rules and a bizarre one at that.

i love nike pro/nike dri fit stuff gloves

im a real nike head in the gym........i have like one thing under armour.
 
Where's Supreme Ape at? I wanna ask him how long it took him to get down to where he was just lifting/cardio right after. I personally think the running inthe morning then lifting at night is working really well but when I have a rather hectic morning this becomes impossible sometimes.
