argggg i love yogurt. so good for burning my fat. i just feel as i get lower, eating a couple chobani's a day may start to hold me back because of the 18-19g of sugar. Any other options? I've tried plain, wayyyyyyy to bitter. couldn't get past a couple spoonfuls. i know the high sugar content comes from the fruit, but i'm wondering if any of you have found other kinds that have lower sugar without sacrificing too much flavor and protein.

Why the obsession over a few grams of sugar?
 
I hate how I have to go to the gym now. Recently got a day job, so my 8 AM gym sessions can't happen.

Instead, I have to get off work, sit around for a bit, then hit the gym at 8 PM. Tried to go in there at 645 PM on Monday...yeah, I'd rather wake up at 3 AM for a session. Also, I'll have to start using half a caffeine pill at night. I'm just "drained" when I go in there now.

Back today though. Not sure if I'll start with DLs, or just stick with T Bar Rows for my main compound.

why do they wear those stupid shorts anyways? doesn't the term 'physique' mean the entire body anyways? all they seem to get judged on is abs. they might as well just wear jeans and tee's and just lift their shirts up like the Situation

situation doesnt even have abs tho :lol

So, I'm getting married next September and I'm pushing myself to cut weight and be toned. Do you guys have any suggestions on a workout routine? I'm already dieting and eating clean but I'd like to cut down to about 215-220. I'm currently at 255. Any suggestions would be helpful.

pick 2 body parts per day with at least 24-48 hrs before you do the same body part again for the week, do 3-4 workouts per body part (for a total of 6-8 in the workout session) = Profit.

Thanks for the input! Is it better to workout using free weights and machines? I've been using the machines at 24 and the dumbells. But that's about it...I want to learn how to do deadlifts and weighted squats, but I just have no idea how to do them properly.

stick to free weights, only use machines for accessory workouts (when you want to focus on one body part and not a compound movement)

Anyways, GNC has questbars on sale today only for about $20 for 12. Was on the fence for a box of the raspberry white chocolate and the chocolate brownie.

Any opinions or thoughts or suggestions?

dambb 8am.... idk how u did that. congrats on the new job though. Its all about adjusting.

Day1: chest/tri
Day2:back/bi
Day3:shoulders/legs
Day4:restday
Then back at day1

Im gonna change it to
Day1:chest
Day2:back
Day3:shouldes
Day4:legs/tri/bi
Day5:rest

Do you guys think i should add more weight or exercise to my new routine?

Might just be me, but I'd give legs their own day.

I don't have the energy to do anything before, or after legs.

Didn't go to the gym for nearly 2 weeks straight :smokin vacation

Went back and i actually feel stronger and look more toned. Extended rest period & Mediterranean diet ftw
 
just spoke with a dude that was sayin to take protein 3 times a day. 1 for breakfast, 1 as a snack throughout the day and 1 after my workout (2 scoops each time)...

my goal is to cut a substantial amount of fat and tone up/become a leaner me. i've been workin out for awhile and i'm building muscle buts its takin some time for the more fatty areas to slim. i was/have been only takin in 1 shake after my workout.

my question is, will me jumpin to 3 shakes a day help me add more muscle which i THINK would aid in burning fat, or would it just make me fatter/heavier in a way i dont want?

also, im currently takin whey protein when i think for someone in my position, i should be takin an isolate b/c they are less fatty/low cal than reg whey protein...

i figure, if i am gonna take a shake 3 times a day, it'd be better to go the isolate route as opposed to str8 up whey.

currently 5'8- 190.

target- a solid/firm 165-170. dont think i could realistically get much lighter than that considering my frame (kinda like mike tyson or sean garret) and how much muscle im building right now...

whatcha got for me?
