STAY/GET BACK IN SHAPE VOL 3.0 -- A New Niketalk = A New Thread

Like a convenient snack for people on the go or not able to have a cooked meal available to eat at the moment

Study on elevation training masks.

Key points

Wearing the ETM during a 6-week high-intensity cycle ergometer training program may improve performance variables, such as VO2max, PPO, VT, PO at VT, RCT and PO at RCT.
Wearing the ETM did not improve lung function, inspiratory muscle strength, or stimulate changes in hemoglobin or hematocrit levels.
The ETM does not simulate altitude, but works more like an respiratory training device.

I believe my professor sued a major manufacturer of these "altitude simulating" masks. Basically like you stated above, they pretty don't do what they claim to do. The masks just restrict your breathing, which is essentially like working out while sucking air through a straw. That is physiologically NOWHERE near the effect altitude has on your respitory system. I'm pretty sure he sued and won, I'll have to email and find out the specifics

The fact you think muscle pharm and quest are even remotely tied/comparable has just invalidated your opinion.

Ill take the box away from you for 5 tho 8o

Invalid opinion on taste? :lol

Plus shipping and they're all yours.

I just don't think they're good. I'm going to try another but first impression was not good. I've eaten them all over the years. A year or two ago half this thread were Quest stans. Then it was musclepharm. Then oh yea. I tried all of them solely based on the recommendations of this thread. Y'all can miss me with how bad they are. Like some damn protein bar hypebeasts in here :lol

Agree with all of this :lol

Any of yall do t bar rows? Thinking about adding those to my routine as well as bent over bb row. Is there any difference in the muscles they target?

Not really. Most rowing patterns target the traps, rhomboids, lats and other posterior muscles. More or less depends on your grip and the angle of your torso to determine which muscles are emphasized greater.

These are cool if you get sick of typical rowing movements.

Bent Over BB Row > *

One of my favorite lifts, just hit a PR the other day 245x5.

I've never had a protein bar where I've been like "damn that's delicious!"

Certain flavors are just more tolerable than others.

That's why regular food always trumps supplements.

I got the Fitjoy Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough bars in today.

They're softer and not as sweet as the Quest bar version. I haven't found an enjoyable protein bar yet.

Thanks for the input fellas. Ive only been doing seated rows. Gonna add bent over bb rows, wasnt sure about the t rows. Might use it as a switch up every now and then

Facepulls are a good movement to work into your pull day also. Good for the shoulders, posture, and they promote upward rotation of the scapulae which is pretty overlooked by most of us.

Another good rowing variation:

These are also nice variations of the DB row. Just subtle differences in grip and stance.
