I've read that it can be 50 an ounce... I think there less than a dozen restaurants in the U.S. that sell real kobe beef. Make sure you get the real stuff bro. Some restaurants advertise kobe but sell a lesser meat. Not sure how they can do that but they do.

Yea from what I researched it's pretty rare. There's only one restaurant I know for sure here in NY that sells legit Kobe beef. It's 25 an ounce there. I'm really tempted to go sometime in the next two weeks. Effing tdogg got me feenin with all the damn steak talk... I wanted to wait until my birthday in October but I might not last..

Yea it was banned here in america for awhile. So its extremely hard to find real kobe. I think there is only one place in dc that has it.
