STAY/GET BACK IN SHAPE VOL 3.0 -- A New Niketalk = A New Thread

"magic pills" are supposed to be combined with exercise and calorie deficit.

I used Super HD and CLK and it worked for me. Necessary? Not at all.

I should've clarified, with a deficit in place. Even then, how much more do you think you dropped with it? No shots. With a caloric deficit in hand you'll hit that goal without supplementation of a fat burner in place. Of course, thats just IMHO

With that in mind, i'd choose an ECA stack, more effective, and lighter on the wallets

taking a preworkout fasted is a winner.

While I do agree that people should do what gets them the results they want, but whats wrong with having an actual discussion about it?

This applies to so many other topics, not just this one, but the "everyone is different" phrase is such a cop-out and excuse people use to justify what theyre doing. Everyone is different, yes, but there are certain things that are common among everyone and you just cant fall back onto the safety net of "people are different"

Whats so wrong with having an intellectual conversation about the topic. I dont see a reason to automatically dismiss something because there are studies inf avor of each side.

Not taking a shot either, I just dont see a point in ignoring the topic because there are studies on both sides of the fence.

I don't think fasted cardio will destroy muscle.

Also I don't think taking OTC pain meds affects muscle growth either.

Whats the verdict for those 2?

I dont think fasted cardio will destroy either.

I wasnt trying to say that fasted cardio is bad, or doesnt have its merit. Im just saying that the idea that fasted cardio will utilize fat as the source of energy is very limited in science. I have nothing against fasted cardio, but to think that because you havent eaten in awhile the excess fat you have will be converted into energy isnt correct.

I also dont think OTC meds will affect muscle growth either

Question...when does your body "reset" its macros? For example, Let's say goal for the day is 3500 and I only get in 3000 total before I go to sleep. When I wake up the next day, can I just add the 500 I missed previously on top of my normal daily macros of 3500?

I've always heard meal timing irrelevant so this subject interest me.

some people go by weekly overall macros, so if your daily goal is 3500cal, in a week that's 24500 for whatever your goal is

Good **** bruh.. Try repping out 225 15-25X 2 days a week. Bet your 315 reps will go up and try to keep your back flat with bench.
Not sure if either will help actually. That rep range isn't conducive to strength gains.

Also you actually want to bench with a slight arch, its difficult to do and takes time. If you're retracting your shoulder blades/scapula/traps then that should help with arching.

some of the advice in here lately from quarter squats to staring at the ceiling on deadlifts to flat back benches

Worked for me back in the days. Use to try and rep out 315 but had no gains. Then repped out 225 20-25x weekly, then boom! 315 10-15x. Never really maxed out though..Only thing is that it strains your pecks at times.
As for flat back benching, I use to run 1/2 gassers after my workouts and noticed that once I stopped using my back on bench, I wasn't having back problems after conditioning.

Thats because going in there and just randomly picking a weight and trying to rep it out is horrible programming.

I have no idea what gassers are but its impossible to not use your back when you bench, your lats play a key role in performing the lift.

Ask anyone in here who has a respectable bench, they will tell you it is a full body lift.

Lats aren't really a huge factor if you're not in gear. I mean, yeah you have to be stable on the bench, but shoulders, triceps and chest are way more important. Just my experience.

I'm pretty sure he, and everyone else, knows shoulders, tris & chest are the main lifting muscles. Still doesn't detract from the importance of strong lats on the bench.

Anybody use a specific workout program while cutting? I did 5x5 for about 3 months but now I'm cutting so I want to do something less rigorous

You sound real aristocratic bruh.
Im giving advice that worked out for me. Why you sidelining for. Impossible? Was benching 225 with my legs to my chest. Although I do see that you give out good advice, ease up on your pin pointing breh...

Yeah I was just trying to emphasize that theres more muscles involved then just those 3, they are the main movers of the lift of course but more are involved.

What are you talking about breh?

You told dude to bench with a flat back which is bad advice, you gonna tell him to flare his elbows out too? Who else am I supposed to point at when your the one that said it?

Dudes in here need to ease up on the feels when they get called out for giving out false information, I would expect someone to correct me if I didn't know what I was talking about.
