lol you dont have to squat to be successful and progressive. Squatting isn't the end all be all anymore. You can build a great body without it. Come on guys. We've advanced so far with different techniques and machines and angles to work, things that used to only work one way, now we have options. Squats are great, but there are certainly other viable alternatives now. I'm in no way hating on squats or challenging their benefit, but there's other movements like it that offer the same gains without unneeded pressure on the knee joints.
As far as iLLest,
you just gotta push through that disgust feeling when you look in the mirror during bulk. Besides you can still do some cardio without effecting gains and helping to limit the amount of fat put on. You wont be shredded while bulking unless you're using gear...but you can def limit how soft you look. And just keep telling yourself that it'll all be worth it come spring/summer. Winter is when we, as animals, are supposed to thicken our skin anyways .
