Considering advancements in technology, I'm rather hype.

Will the story live up to its predecessors? Not betting on it but hopefully we'll be pleasantly surprised.

I like that they are using "old-school" ways

What happened to that maise girl? She was cuter.

That game of thrones chick can **** off.

She was rumored to be playing Obi-Wans grand daughter. If true, I'd suspect they'd try to keep her part under wraps as long as possible.

Christie fits the profile of Mara Jade Skywalker :nerd: If there's one EU character they'll keep/heavily be influenced by, it's her.

One thing already bothering me, why the hell do they keep going back to Tatoonie? Damn franchise is about a galaxy full of stars, and they keep starting with the same stupid planet.

Get some new planets you **** tards.

Possible real story spoiler

That's ROTJ concept art on the right for the entrance into Jabbas palaces, and one of the leaked set photos on the left. The clone wars movie also featured the same structure in front of Jabbas Palace.

So for whatever reason they're on Tatoonine, they're dealing with whoever is now running Jabbas gang, likely his son.

They're going to figure out a way to incorporate Tatoonie into every Star Wars movie

I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere. Not like here. Here everything is soft and smooth.

:smh:
That single scene is a major reason why AOTC is the worst Star Wars movie of all time for me.

Wheres yodas son? You mean to tell me the baddest mother **** in the galaxy never got it in?

That ain't helpin me feel better man.

"We want to tell new stories...."

*reuses old, dead *** characters from over 30 years ago, on the same planet, AGAIN, from 2 of the first 6 movies.*

Excerpt from 'Heir to The Jedi' one of the first books coming out after the EU relaunch. Set between ANH and ESB.

There’s no one around to answer all my questions now that Ben’s gone. It’s a stark fact that continually reasserts itself each time I wonder what I’m supposed to do now. That brown robe he wore might as well have been made of pure mystery; he clothed himself in it and then left nothing else behind on the Death Star. I know Han likes to scoff at the idea of the Force, but when a man’s body simply disappears at the touch of a lightsaber, that’s more than “simple tricks and nonsense.”

And I know the Force is real. I’ve felt it.

I still feel it, actually, but I think it’s like knowing there’s something hidden in the sand while you’re skimming above it. You see ripples on the surface, hints that something is moving down there—maybe something small, maybe something huge—living a completely different life out of your sight. And going after it to see what’s underneath the surface might be safe and rewarding, or it might be the last thing you ever do. I need someone to tell me when to dive into those ripples and when to back off.

I thought I heard Ben’s voice a couple of times during the Battle of Yavin, but I’m wondering now if that really happened. Maybe I only thought it did; maybe that was my subconscious speaking to me—a kind of wishful thinking. He’s been silent since, and I don’t feel I can talk to anyone else about the Force. My confidants at this point consist of one blue and white astromech droid.

They've come out and said that all Star Wars media that is released now is 100% canon, and Luke teams up with some young female his age in this book :nerd:

Going to buy every book they release :smokin

Started buying all the old EU books back in 06 but I was obviously missing a lot of the previously released ones.
