The Mandalorian episode 8 was awesome this morning. That show is killing it. I love the exploration and connections with the Mandalorians and remains of the Empire.

There's no way he could've went with what Rian didn't establish or bother to set up.

Its as if ppl are pretending there was a clear perfect way to go and JJ was like **** that.

A lot decided SW was on a **** path after TLJ. This just went the way you predicted. False hope to think this movie could've somehow turned out great. I'll say it again, I really wish Rian Johnson was made to direct this.

Serious question: now that you’ve seen TROS what do you wish TLJ was that would have made this better?

in my opinion: criticize last Jedi for the story choices all you want, but FA and TROS were written by teams of people who couldn’t make up their mind and were different movies by their ends than they were at their starts.

TLJ was written by one person who had a clear concept of what he wanted the movie to be, however disagreeable you found it and sought to execute that. It was cohesive and made sense.

EpIX is a mess and feels like Fan Fic/Fan servicer you’d find on tumblr.

I appreciate all 3 trilogies for what they were ... Even the movies that are universally disliked have some of the most major elements to a cohesive SW story ...

I rewatched TFA and TLJ - they are good movies ... People should lighten up ...

I absolutely loved the game too but the storyline is as basic Star Wars as it gets. If anything, this game just proves that quality characters are what goes a long way in telling a satisfying story. Not convoluted diversity just to check boxes.

I was actually ready to see people complain that 80% of the major characters in this game were female, but I guess people were too busy actually enjoying a good game. I'm sure the SJW's were ready to get defensive too

The only cohesive thing about TLJ was the sjw agenda and frankly there is nothing else in the whole movie. One third was about how men are reckless, ******ed and destructive and should be rebuked and slapped on occasion (Poe's story). Result - the best pilot of the resistance was peeking scared from a porthole for the rest of the movie. Anoter third was about how men are weak and quitters, but women always remain strong no matter what and always do the right thing no matter what - enter the most forced and unnecessary character in movie history - Rose. So for an hour we had to suffer a ******ed plot line with over dramatic dialogues and with zero connection to the overall plot (and finally with absolutely no effect on the overall plot development). And lets not forget almost all of the remaining resistance forces were wiped so that she could provide the "love wins" line....smh. The rest was about how the greatest jedi of all became an insufferable whining ****, so that the strong independent young female (Rey) could put him on the right path. To top everything, there is a shot of the command deck of Home One explicitly showing that the whole command personnel of the resistance is female. I am not even going to comment on the new heroic admiral and the bs force float.
Btw, if you find time to read some EU stuff, you will see that Luke has vanished multiple times and that the vanishing has nothing to do with the disgusting character development.
There is only one thing in the whole movie I agree with, and that is Yoda's regret about the jedi order not being proactive.
TROS basically ignores TLJ and apart from some superhero bs stuff (Han's line "that's not how the force work" jumped to mind on many occasions), it is mostly ok.

That’s funny because I was reading the Visual Guide and it says Niem Numb was the Pilot of the Tantive IV in TROS and the ship is definitely in the movie. I don’t recall seeing NN though.

You know I was just thinking about this and lack of black representation which is still an issue (I was unlocking all of the characters in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and not a single one is a black person. Got blue and pink Pokemon, animals, etc. Then I started thinking about video games and the lack of black main characters to play as which is why Super Smash has none but thats a whole other topic) when I was watching that Revan youtube vid.

I went on to watch a gang of other CivilizationEx SW Sith character vids (all a bunch of white males and like 3 white females) and I'm like damn, since they made the EU non-canon but are slowly making certain characters a part of continuity again this is the perfect time to switch it up for diverse casting.

Need to make Vitiate a native American looking dude and when he body hops in to being Valkorion that needs to be an Asian guy.

SEGA's Bare Knuckles/Streets of Rage series had Adam and his younger brother Skate. Those cats were the best characters in the game.

jaypesoz just curious my man, but do they force the narrative that men are bad in the game or is it just way more female characters than men? If it's the latter then it's not really a problem.

I remember Horizon: Zero Dawn on PS4 being way too preachy and really shoving the men are evil narrative down the player's throat towards the endgame. The game was no where near as perfect as the reviews stated it was but good overall. The story by far was super weak though.

Nien Nunb is in TROS. I felt like I saw him but they may have cut him in the final cut.
