Stanford swimmer sentenced to 6 months for rape.

Also in the doc, a girl said that she was raped by a member of the notre dame football team, however officials stated that they "couldn't find him" for 2 weeks...even tho he played in two home games. A former campus security guard stated that they weren't allowed to approach athletes. These dudes are legitimately untouchable.

You see this with what was going on a Baylor.

While his family isn't poor, they are not rich by American standards. Dad was a military contractor and mom a surgery nurse. That puts them right in the middle class. The money spent to hire the defense attorney was raised from a Facebook page to donate for his cause in 2015. We can safely eliminate money being a factor in the judge's sentencing. What that then leaves, and It's pretty hard to contest this, is clear cut white privilege.

Understood. Yeah, sounds like all he needed was that racial capital

Judge is scum. Prolly starting to suffer from dementia. His kind is slowly dying off, thank god

There are three things that a lot of people are missing here.

One, he has to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life. Where he can live, his ability to travel, his educational options and his employment options will be severally limited forever. Add in the social stigma and the exposure to vigilantism and the public will get its pound of flesh, it will simply will take some time.

Two, most jail inmates get released early, even poor and non white inmates.

Three, he will be on probation and could be sent to prison for several years if he violates his probation.

Within the context of the punishment obsessed, American justice system, Brock Turner received a very lenient sentence. However, I disagree with the Nancy Grace sentiment that he got a "slap on the wrist" or "got away scot free."

With that all said, Judge Persky is a scumbag because he has handed out much harsher sentences to people convicted of very similar acts as Turner. If he were an across the board, liberal judge who is "soft on people and tough on systems," that would be one thing. However, he went easy on Turner largely because of his identity.

Nah, he got a slap on the wrist b

In a Country that gives corner boys 20 years to life in Prison, he did indeed get off lightly.

However; compared to sentencing in other industrialized Countries, Brock Turner did indeed get punished and will be for years to come.

If he walks the straight and narrow, the chances of probation violation is practically nonexistent.

His family has already shown that they are willing to go to bat for him, so it wouldn't surprise me if they set up living arrangements for him.

Most inmates get early release treatment, but serving 3 months imprisonment after being found guilty of felony sexual assault is unfathomable. All those things considered, it's not that great a stretch to say he got a slap on the wrist.

What's crazy is since he's had TV exposure and has somewhat of a bad boy image, he might actually get the yambs thrown at him this go round.

The dude with the orange hair that shot up the theater had em choosin online.
