Are you talking about the bank shot in the final moments of that game?

Good to see AI back in Philly

Cats posting tributes in the other thread like my man passed away or somethin'.

I expected him to be back sometime this season...ain't no way that "retirement" would be permanent.

A 17-65 season with a top 3 pick >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 40-42 season with a first round exit in the playoffs.

However, Sixers won't make the playoffs this year, with or without Iverson. I'd be shocked if Iverson was even still on the active roster in April.

And with that said, I bought courtside seats for Monday's game. Sec 101, Row BB. Had to do it.

Philly-bound again: Iverson agrees to deal with Sixers

Posted Dec 2 2009 10:09AM

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Allen Iverson is rejoining the Philadelphia 76ers.

Sixers president Ed Stefanski announced the signing Wednesday on the team's Web site. Iverson is expected to make his debut Monday against the Denver Nuggets.

Stefanski says in a news release that the team felt "Allen was the best available free agent guard to help" after the injury to Lou Williams, who will miss up to eight weeks.

Iverson, his agent and business manager met with Stefanski, coach Eddie Jordan and two other members of the organization Monday.

The 37-year-old Iverson announced his retirement last week after an ill-fated stint with the Memphis Grizzlies. The 10-time All-Star was NBA MVP in 2001 when he led the Sixers to the NBA finals.

No, I would have figured that. I think that is just insurance incase he flakes. I dont see Willy Green starting over him when Lou comes back so Idont know if it will be too much of a problem. But we'll see. I am clearly a big Iverson fan but if he flakes because of something other than getting benchfor Willy Green or some other bum on the squad right now then I will stop taking his side.

Just glad to see him suiting up again and getting a chance to show hes not washed up like most of ya seem to think he is.

Now ill have to buy Sixers vs. Laker tickets!

Welcome Back 2 Philly AI..he should of never left

AI & AI back together

I thought the starting backcourt was Lou Williams, Iggy and Thaddeus at the 3...

With Iverson back & when Lou eventually does it should look like Lou & Iverson backcourt, Iguodala to his natural position. Thad sparking off thebench

Yea Iggy isnt a real SG. He may play it for them now because lets face it. Hes the best they've got as far as scoring goes. But he is builtmore for a SF. It should be interesting tho. Again I would have to assume that the agreement is that he is going to start otherwise I dont see why he wouldhave come back. Clearly PT is the main gripe he had with Detroit and Memphis.

Glad to see AI back. The second best Sg of this decade. I'm going to cop some tickets when he comes to DC, I'm sure that will be a sell out.

I don't. It think it shows how much AIs stock was damaged over the past couple seasons. You know it's bad when the team won'tguarantee a little over 1M. They're treating him like he's Darius Miles.

But will his team win? Oh yeah, I forgot it doesn't matter because "he leaves everything on the floor." My bad.

And when he brings the Sixers out of the basement and into the playoffs what then? O yeah, I forgot they wont win the championship (pretty much 100% on that one) so he still wont be regarded as "a winner" by the haters. So just go beat off to "Kobe: Doin Work" and leave the basketball discussions to people who actually know what they are talking about.
You do realize that his career win percentage is very close to .500, and I'm not even sure if he's on the positive side of the equationthese days. People aren't saying these things without basis. He acts like he wants to win, but he doesn't. He wants to be the center on attention, winor lose. When one loses more often than they win, they are often referred to as a "loser." Iverson is not the exception. As for "Kobe: Doin'Work"....
