From I never experienced racism growing up in Toronto to I wore black face to show the dualities of a black man
Sheeesh. We already know what it is with Drake and his "blackness". He wasn't around any form of black culture til he got into hip hop. Nothing wrong with being from a Jewish suburb but it's clear he can't relate. He was saying _ with a hard "ER" growing up, ain't start getting haircuts til like his 20's, he wore blackface in a ad. He's black but culturally it's clear he's not one of us.
And it has nothing to do with being an activist. Activists are people out on the frontlines, something that you were raised and groomed to be. Plenty of rappers past and present have spoke on black issues, grow up in black culture, live and and breathe it w/o doing activist duties.
