You could extend this to the workplace/upscale estblishments as well, what was once known as "Casual Friday" is starting to become everyday business casual in professional settings. Now we have high end traditional fashion houses making/collaborating streetwear, just the latest example

People normally do four things as they get older as far as dressing

Continue dressing as you did when you were 20-25.
Dress more traditionally
Continuing to update your dress with the current trends.
Stop caring

My dad has been wearing Bernie Mac silk suits since he was like 35 and is 56 now. I feel like I’m already heading to the phase of dressing like I’m going to a Texans/Rockets/Astros game for the rest of my life
