Rap About Nothing: Hip Hop Chat Thread

I can't imagine taking a Wayne tape over the classic Budden, Clipse, Dipset, G Unit, Beanie and Fab mixtapes. Mixtapes with bars, not talking about eating P 12 different ways and how he's the sh in ten different ways.

Wayne had the EXACT same content as the aforementioned and was BETTER than all of them in the early 00s :lol.

SQ Wayne to Drought 3 Wayne >>>> all of those rappers mixtapes.

Low key?

when I first heard "Ima do me" I was like who this fake *** Jeezy.

:lol true. Rocko for a lot of records. I’m just looking around and damn. He got some bangers.

Atlanta was a hell of a time when Rocko and Shawty Lo had the d-boy scene on smash...while the futuristic era had its own wave. Jeezy and Tip were on the mainstream....and Gucci had the skreets on lock....with 2 Chainz and Future in the bull pen heating up.

Atlanta took the rap game.

Never understood how Rocko wasn't bigger. Dope as flow and beats, was talking that ****

Rocko >>>> Gunna, Gubba NBA, Lil Baby, all those bozos y'all talk about

I thought Goin Steady Remix was gonna be out of here. Thought broads would eat that one up, especially with Plies.
