Well i sold a comic book for $1500 so that’s the ONLY reason i bought it. And it was still an internal struggle. In the end i figure Incan still sell it at a profit or break even since it was hella limited.

The thing I'm seeing with hat reselling is it seems to be resellers selling to other resellers. Like, there are so few of these things released each drop and the community of hat collectors is still pretty small (especially compared to sneakers) that the people selling caps for $150+ are selling them to other dudes who are selling their hats for $150. It's basically three-way trading. I'm convinced most of these small shops only have like 5-10 each size for each team's cap. Maybe HC has like 20-30 per size, but I'm guessing we're not looking at more than 50. That's probaby why you see so few available for resale in general.

Oh absolutely. I won't ever pay above retail for a hat. So many of these things come out every day, why would you? Miss one today, there will be something similar again some day. I basically only buy Dodgers hats anyway, so there's only so much you can do with the Brooklyn B, the two LAs, and a handful of patches, after all.

I paid $50 bucks for this and this dude on ig told me he paid $200 for it to match his SB 8s I said no way I would paid that for a hat . I've gotten spoiled before this fitted hat craze I remember everyone was buying snapbacks the cheapest I paid for a fitted between $3-5 dollars the most was $60 and definitely like getting my hats for cheap .

Exactly... like, I'm team Matchy-Matchy, but I really don't need every color in my hat to match my shoes lol. Gimme some orange in a Tigers cap to match my Carhartt WIP jacket and I'm good. If you need to match more than one or two colors you need to seek psychiatric help

It does but not a lot. Look in lids and you can see non patched hats are like $5 less or so
Yeah patches are being mixed and matched to a point. New Era is being flexible seeing the boom in sales. I just wish the stomper As would get the battle of the bay patch treatment.
MyFitteds had terrible online stock and they’ve given up the tricks to get around bots. Considering that they drop so few, they should be like Mag Park and review all orders to filter bot sales.
