Post Your Motorcycle

Sounds 100x better, 1/3 the weight and looks cleaner. Glad I didn’t spend close to 600 after tax on a yoshi.

ktm/gasgas/husky 300 is what I'm going to be looking at.

i got a 450 but im jelly of all my buddies with the light 2 stroke

the new KTM 300 is amazing. Rode one in Portland last year, and that oil injection system is sooooo awesome. The air fork suspension is also really really good. I’m partial to that orange plastic look though, for me it’s always KTM.

ALWAYS, take your helmet with you...no helmet lock is going to prevent theft; plus some people are jerks and feel a way towards motorcyclists and might leave a nasty 'gift' in your helmet
Oh ****..... is it ****?
People do that!?

Man if I ever saw anybody pissing in somebodies helmet I’m fighting them. :lol i don’t even care if I know the helmet owner. That foul af.

What tires you sumo/dual sport guys running?

I was thinking about getting some shinko 705s but I don’t know if they’ll be trash on the side of the tire.

oh yeah, signed up for evening of training at the track. they do all sorts of events from sumo nights and open track days to teaching racing. not sure what to expect but it should be fun.

i mean yeah i typically take my helmet with me, but bruh where do you live? maybe bc i'm out in the burbs that peeps are pretty considerate of riders. there are a lot of riders in my area too.

There’s this road down by the river right by my house it’s fun to ride with some twisty parts and it’s lawless af down there. You can do whatever you want. We always go ride down there and you always see the wildest ****.

there’s also a bunch of trails. Not like real trails that are in a state park. Just random trails that who knows how they got there. Anyways me and my boy were riding them and went barreling into some big *** homeless camp of like 10 tents at 2am on accident .

I can only imagine you’re sleeping then next thing you know you got two loud *** dirt bikes in your camp like “oh my bad bud👋👋👋

my boy copped a unicorn of a dual sport. BMW g650 x challenge. 60hp 320 pound bike, it rips. I can only imagine how a husky 701 or something feels.

Congrats on the new bike!

Brief story. Had quite the scare the other day.
I was merging onto the highway and my bike stalled out of nowhere. I was able to get it over to the shoulder but I man it's freaky when anything happens at high speed. Started it back up, started riding and it randomly shut off again. Long story short I get home and it turns out the kickstand is so loose that any bumps knocks it down enough to trigger the sensor....
I did accidently get some chain grease over the kick stand which made the whole thing super easy to kick up and down, but after examining it, it looks like the kickstand doesn't go all the way up on it's own anyway. Ordered some new OEM springs and hope this takes care of it. I've seen vid on how to disable the sensor but that looks like more work and I'm not down to mess with the electronics.

you’ll be good once you get that spring on man. They are a pain to put on. Get the vice grips ready.

Watched some videos already and looks annoying. Picked up a tip were you place a few pennies in the spring to stretch it a bit to make it easier to put on the bike... but I don't really have the equipment to do that so I'll figure something out. The sv650 uses two springs also which stinks.
Also went riding today and a lady bug with pin point kamikaze accuracy got me right in the neck below the helmet and above the jack. Felt like getting shot with a BB gun.

It’s that time of year where lady bugs just take over here. Coming in your house and stuff and they smell when you smash them.

I had to leave her behind with some relatives but I’ll see her again cause I try to go back at least once a year. Wanted to cop the 250L instead but wasn’t hyped on spending that much just to leave it.

did about 75 miles of back road twisties this afternoon in central MD...got lost but realized that if i would have stayed on my route, would have looped me like 10 miles south
