Is there a catch to renting cars from Turo?
^^ Most of the cars I've seen want renters to be 25+ but in some rare cases, owners want the drivers renting to be 30+ and put down $1,500 deposit that'll you will get back once the car is returned and there's no damage to the vehicle.

Turo was really cool when it was lowkey and obscure and there were absolute steals on there that I wish I would've taken advantage of looking back. Now it's filled with people wanting insane amounts for regular *** cars. Obviously more people were way under pricing their cars before but that's their problem not mine

Yeah, some cars are listing at $500+/day which is ridiculous but if ppl are renting them at that price, I can't knock the hustle

They make their money from the service fees and providing insurance to the renter in the event that your car gets joy ridden into a wall or some **** like that

Even the mechanic/salesman abuse the cars on the lot. Lol
I had a friend that helped load cars on and off freight trains or something like that and he would always post his coworkers doing burnouts in brand new Escalades and other expensive cars. Some guy was doing full on donuts :rollin

When i worked at a dealership we drive the sports cars hard as ****. They were already used so why not add some abuse?

I used work on the rails out of high school and we were using and abusing anything with a stick. 392s sts gt350s hellcats 5.0s raptors anything and everything. Turn it on and immediately rev it and red line. We were doing donuts and burnouts of the train as long as the manager was off the lot literally no ****s given because it wasnt our cars

So that’s why my car had 6 miles on it when I got it
6 miles doesnt sound like alot but considering the cars only drive 1/10-1/8 mile per facility 20 people have probably driven your car after its left the factory before you .

I know one of you used car salesmen have stories of wrecking a car at the lot. :nerd:
Im not a salesmen but when I worked on the rails I was behind a new guy and he tried to slide around a corner and went over black ice and slid into a pole and totalled a new ram rebel truck :lol

Decided to finally get off stock wheels. My tires are bald anyways so I copped some new wheels + tires.

Any tire experts in here? Please PM me.

Not me.

We had one guy go get drunk on a test drive a few months ago and leave the car at a friends house then come back with it hours later and try to fight the salesman just about
