My bank account is happy ASICS doesn't pump out as many good colorways like Nike does LOL (at least for the SB series and Metaspeed Sky and Edge series)

Kicking myself for not scooping up the SB2s when I had multiple chances with the restocks SMH
Anyhow… received the ribbed AFN/VFN3 laces from AliExpress. They feel the same, but they’re ~25-33% wider than Nike’s. They were bout $1.20/pair.

Saucony’s ribbon laces from the Endorphin G1 and G2 are probably my all time favorite running performance laces.
Also seam-ripped these tongues off from some donors. When I get the SB2s, my plan is to transplant one of these on…

So the Puma DN2 had a 6mm drop but the DN3 has a 10mm drop?
Yeah, sounds like the 3 was a step backwards from the 2 unfortunately in a number of ways, that being one of them. The DNE3 is absolutely incredible though and a tremendous upgrade over the Elite 2. Up there with the best super shoes out there now.

I haven’t tried mine on yet. But I like the color way more than the first colorway of the SB1.
first run in the hyperion max 2 and brooks has regained my interest
nice snappy ride that reminds me of the endorphin speed 2 - able to manage various paces but really shines in the moderate to faster paces. gonna be a fun one as i ramp up my miles in this training block

These are super fire and TTS (I had to size down .5 in the OG)
