*Are any The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo sequels confirmed?
Just got back from War Horse!
Excellent, excellent film. It's a tad long I will admit (so go into it knowing that) but I thoroughly enjoyed it all the way through. I never was checking my watch... (eh it's 2011, my cell phone clock), didn't want to make a bathroom trip in fear of missing anything critical, etc.
Jeremy Irvine was brilliant playing Albert Naracott, and I thoroughly enjoyed many other performances in the movie as well. The soldier that won the coin flip, the little girl trying to teach the horses equestrian, the little girl's grandfather, the soldier who bought the horse from Albert's dad, etc. All portrayed their roles tremendously.
The cinematography was AMAZING, Spielberg really delivered on that. And to be honest I don't know if I saw any "Spielberg Faces" as that one video described
Maybe one or two at the most
. But honestly, the camerawork in this film was just breathtaking. Everything. The battle scenes, the overhead shots of the farm, the plowing in the rain scene, and it goes on. I was BEYOND impressed. Roger Ebert even said the film contained "surely some of the best footage Spielberg has ever directed".
Gotta give this a 8.5/10
Go see this movie! The storyline is wonderful, don't expect a ton of action though. Only one or two scenes.
