* Offiical NBA Off-Season Thread: I'll give one of my damn kidney's for these Melo rumors to stop *

I'm glad the Magic are adding a black uni to their rotation.

I think the T-Wolves are getting a black alternate as well.

The Kings should get a black alternate with purple lettering and trim, those would be.

I think you're pretty accurate with the rest, but as I said, the Thunder have zero injury issues waiting to happen  (minus freak ones of course)  Denver has like 5 guys that could any second go down for a long stretch.  (Nene, Billups, Martin, Anderson, Harrington)  Age/wear and tear/just prior history could see each of those 5 break down further this season.  The Thunder are a bunch of kids.  Unless you fall and break their leg, they shouldn't miss too many games or long stretches.
When was the last time a bunch of kids went out and made some noise though?

And I highly disagree with Billups, but, that's just me, and I'm a huge Chauncey fan. Still the combination of Billups/Lawson/JR is slightly better than the Thunder back-court.

How has someone not seen Casino? I'm sure the same guy hasn't seen Goodfellas.

Glad you got hooked into Dexter CP, them Oregonians doing something right!

Thas just it, dude had seen Goodfellas, and loved it.

I sat in a chair and thought by myself for a good half hour how a dude went on thru life watching one and not the other for so long.  Dark day indeed.

And I am not an Oregonian, quit lumping me in with these @#$%^%$#@%^&$.

Maybe I'm going out on a limb, but I think Portland has a serious run in them (get mad CP

) for the second best team in the West. They won 50 games last year despite having their players miss like 300+ combined games. Just a (big) matter of staying healthy.

I've never watched Casino

Lemme see if I got this right.......first, you tell me that the Blazers are the second best team in the West.  Then, you follow that up with, I've never watched Casino.

You a Jets fan?  You rootin for the Jets this week?  Oregon Ducks?  You a big Duck fan too?  Anything else you wanna get off your chest while we're here?

A, the reason the Blazers won last year was BECAUSE of their injuries.  Nate is garbage at handling minutes.  He @#$%^ all them dudes up with his rotations game to game.  When they are missing 3-4-5 guys, he has no choice, everybody plays, everybody gets 35 minutes, everybody is happy and plays well.  When they all are available to him, he doesn't have a clue what to do with them all.

B, stop reading this post, get up, and walk your happy @#$ to the video store.  @#$^ you can BUY Casino on Blu Ray for 10 bucks.  Come on man.  Quit makin those mixes on youtube of athletic freaks that can't dribble and watch a damn classic.  That movie is top 10 all time.  Make it happen man, let us know how you like it when you watch it.

Ain't never watched Casion........matter wit these people.

Rt now looks like Den will bring Melo to camp unless someone blows it away with a trade offer.

Nuggets hope a hot start will convince Melo to stay - or maybe they can trade for another star that will keep Melo in Den.

In meantime, Den will keep listening to offers. Nuggets wanted Lopez from NJ, but Nets know they got no chance of keeping Melo w/out Brook.

Sum execs baffled by CHI's refusal 2 part with Noah 4 Melo.

One exec made great point that u can't pay big $ to Rose, Booz, Melo & Noah anyway, so why not move Noah.

NYK lack of draft pics hurts chances. Gotta get third team involved.

NBA Executive: Melo Won't Sign With New Jersey

An NBA executive told Chris Broussard that Carmelo Anthony would not sign a contract extension with the New Jersey Nets.

New Jersey is thought to be Denver's ideal trading partner but Anthony would first need to make a long-term commitment to the Nets before the team trades significant assets to the Nuggets.

I like how Amare heard about all the money stars could make off endorsements if they come to NY.. dude is tryna take advantage of that.. Can't knock the hustle cuz i know he wanna win too..

I think he has a show on MSG

Denver not trading him before camp starts is fail. Just awkardness all around. They're not gonna get a 2nd star to pair up with Melo, and Melo isn't gonna change his mind.

I don't see the Blazers being better than the Mavs or Nuggets personally.

IMO, it's Lakers, then the cluster of Mavs, Nuggets, Thunder, Spurs.
