**Official "The Last Of Us" a PS3 exclusive thread**

Im terrible at this. :lol
I learned the hard way that this game shouldn't be played like Uncharted. I got served with the two piece special when I tried to blindside one of Robert's unarmed henchmen--I was shocked how fast he swung before I did. :lol :{

And the Clickers :x :o

Im speaking more on the multiplayer. Some dudes have this down to a science already.

im mad aggressive with it even though i got a bow lol. dudes stay runnin

finally beat it. took about 12 hours.

i loved it. however, and idk if its been mentioned. the puzzles are soooo repetitive by the end of the game it left a bad taste in my mouth. literally 12 hours of get the plank, swim over to ellie let her get on the plank.. or boost up to the ladder or move the trash can so we can climb up it. smh even the last scene were still boosting.

as of now i still have 4 games above it thi gen

^^^^Yeah. I mentioned that a couple of pages back. Pretty annoyed at that as well just cause I feel like they could have made some more different puzzles. Even Uncharted had a more diverse puzzle system and yet I thought that was pretty damn repetitive as well. Game is still sick though but I still don't think it set any bar. I played Uncharted 2 before the first one and I just thought that was the best 3rd person shooter even. The train scene alone in the beginning was something I have never experienced in a game. Made me say "whoa" like a bunch of times with how many times I thought Drake was going to fall.

I don't see those as puzzles. To each his own, but that shouldn't have an effect on anyone's experience with the game. '

As far as the ending goes.
I didn't see anything wrong with it. Naughty Dog threw a wrench in the whole sacrifice self for humanity crap that we usually get in these games and when it came to it, focused on self which is what most of us do on a day to day basis. They just applied that to a bigger, post apocalyptic scenario. This game isn't about Joel being a hero. We know that he's not as he's killed innocent people like many of the hunters you fight throughout the game. This was about him not having to lose another daughter again. There was no guarantee that a cure would be manufactured from Ellie and the Fireflies weren't exactly good people either. They were willing to kill a child all for a chance (key word) of developing a vaccine. Given the awful state of everything the likelihood of them doing just that is extremely low. She was never given a choice in the matter which makes the Fireflies just as uncivilized as the people they go to war against.
Also,
If they were able to manufacture a vaccine, how would they allocate it? The WHO has stated that over 60% of the world's population is either dead or infected. There is no centralized government with each quarantine zone acting as its own individual city-state. The logistics behind doing something of that magnitude make it near impossible especially with everyone scattered all over the place. Their vision for a cure was extremely unrealistic and a pipe dream. The Fireflies were not the good guys, there are no good guys in this world.

Totally agree but they still should have killed off Joel at the end. I know it might seem cliche in that movie sense but they did enought character developement where it almost made sense to kill off the main character in sacrifice to Ellie (althought it would have been pretty similar to Red Dead Redemption). Even if there was a sequal, they established Ellie as such a strong character where she could have taken on the main character role

Not a spoiler.

Naughty Dog is on record as saying Joel and Ellie's story is already over and that there are other stories to be told in the Lost of Us universe. There is story based DLC coming though so maybe we'll get more about Joel before the game's events.

Just got to the part where we meet with the two brothers. I gotta remember not to go YOLO on these hunters lol.

Oh and my dummy self tried to destroy the turret vehicle :lol had to learn the hard way :{

Good games, Rell.

Even with two, its alot easier. Those teams were alot better at staying together than any I had played with last night.

Was going to say the same as well. Logged off because I had been playing for a while now. Getting used to it and personally think it's good. Borrowed elements from Gears but that's not a bad thing.

An Ish campaign would be pretty cool. But i'll settle for a BIlly one.

I hope the dlc clears up what happened between Tommy and Joel.
I also wonder if Naughty Dog seeing the acclaim this game has gotten ,go back on the word of ending Joel and Ellie's saga and actually make a well thought out sequel
"We want more,We wants more"

They even sound the same!
if i remember correctly, they looked EXACTLY the same during production. so they altered ellie's face a little.

I would think the dlc will be
1. Joel's brother and his journey
2. The brothers
3. Maybe something involving a firefly

So, which part of the game do you guys think is the scariest? I stand by what I said on the previous page.

Red dead redemption

red dead redemption made me shed tears and i had the biggest smirk and grin on my face ever at the end. That was satisfaction at the end

IGN held a thorough discussion on the ending and the story: (SPOILERS!!!!!!!!)
