it's october right now, man.
I think US release will get the special box. At least the pic shown in NIKE.com has those artworkI am not sure if it has been discussed here or not, but I heard today that the box you guys have been seeing with the artwork is an Asia only release box. The other regions will get the standard JB box. I haven't seen that anywhere else, but I was told that this is the case. It initially made no sense to me, but these do cost more in Asia (Japan, China, Australia, etc). They will retail for $250USD, but are 31,000yen in Japan, Over $300AUSD, and over 34,000 in China. All of that equals to about a $270-280 USD release. I guess in the end if true, the special box equals out to a $20-30 increase.
For comparison, the Cigar and Champagne VIs retailed for $250 in the states, but sold for 27,000yen in Japan. This was in June, and Japan won't see their JB price hike until December. Again, I am not saying this is the gospel, but just what was passed along to me.
I've been wondering for months the same, and no one has been able to answer that query. But the real question is ...How much do these sell for in the Australia market...?Do they fetch great prices? Is the re-sell good Down under?

don't they have ebay, once all the us/euro resellers get their pairs it would go down, i remember one of the fears was so rare in AU on rd their whole country got like 1 FSR from what i recallyes. they will sell for thousands in Australia. THOUSANDS.
even if it may look alike, it wasnt my intention to point at you, i just took inspiration from the previous posts... situation looked kinda funny to me!
In my opinion J3 true blue are my favourite 3's and probably the hardest J3 to find in Australia. You got to consider that we get 200 slam dunk 6's released in Australia and there are probably 10 pairs for sale by resellers in this country, yet the TB 3's had a much bigger release and there are none for sale in Australia. These are very hard to find in this country. To compare how hard it is, we get 200 pairs of slam dunks released, and you guys in the usa probably get 3000 pairs released. I can not find a pair of TB's in Australia for sale even for $1000.
Not to mention Jordan has put the 3's in the vault so probably another 5 years before I get a chance to buy a new release.
Your post comes off directed towards me, but it also appears you are saying I have TB 3's and want to swap them for slam dunks, when it is the other way around.

6s are $250 and Super. Fly 3s are $185
How much are these retailing for? Is it going to be 185 like usual or has nothing been said yet?
What do you anticipate the resale value of the 6's might come to. Not sure if I'm available on the release date..
