Don’t like people talking about how the team ended up “fine” in past years after a slow/terrible start. Even if they make it to the playoffs again, the fact that correctable issues haven’t been addressed yet even after blowing up in their face in the postseason over and over…is that really confidence inspiring to anyone? Do you want fine or a Super Bowl win?

His ultra aggressive play calling is killing our possessions and I’m just calling it how I see it!
On first downs it should be a run to keep the defense honest and so that the second and third downs will be manageable!
Keep it simple stupid!
Also I know it doesn’t make sense but we score the most points and give up the least amount of points up to know in the NFC West but somehow we are number 3!!!

This team and shanahan can’t close out games. Pretty sure they’ve spent a majority of the 5 games in the lead and then blew it down the stretch
As a cal/49er fan, this has been one of the most frustrating sports weekends in a long time. I strongly dislike football rn

Why does Guerrendo look so on his runs?
Mustafa should keep the starting Safety position. Hufanga has not looked good since he returned.
I love seeing Brock scramble, but was there really no one open for him to scramble that long?
Ward seems a step slow.
D-Line still has issues. Didn't believe they were back to being dominant against the Pats O-Line.
Good to see Aiyuk getting back to his old self.
I hope Jennings' hand injury isn't serious.
What options do the Niners have at Kicker right now? Moody for sure is out with that high-ankle sprain.

CMC shouldn’t be the reason they couldn’t score ANY points in the second half. That’s all coaching and poor planning. The offense still has plenty of top talent to win games.
Being that reliant on him is the reason he’s been run into the ground and why good teams can stifle the entire offense just by focusing on stopping him.

I said it after the Super Bowl. Partly in the moment and partly being realistic. But if they regress this year, Kyle’s seat might start getting a little warm. Especially if there’s a recurring theme of struggling to close out games. It’s a tough pill to swallow because I think of coaches like Dennis Erickson, Chip Kelly, Mike Singletary and the dysfunction which came with them and I don’t want them to go back to that. But the late game struggles is a bad look.
Players gotta execute, Ronnie Bell comes to mind. But the late game meltdowns is much more coaching related imo.

i mean, it’s super frustrating losing these games like this but at the same time it’s not like we’re getting blown out of these games. some adjustments clearly need to be made and hopefully they can figure that out asap cause the sky ain’t falling just yet but it’s sure getting there.
if/when they figure it out this team can play with anyone. unfortunately under shanahan they’ve also shown they can play down to anyone too. they need to do anything and everything to gel. idc if poppa shanahan needs to be on a headway keeping kyle in check

Yeah it’s certainly frustrating but we’ve got the squad (which is probably what makes it most frustrating) to turn it around

There was a collective gasp in the stadium on a 3 and 1 play in the red zone and they lined up for a pass play.
This was in the 1st half, and I knew from there on the stakeholders were gonna make the players crash head on to an L. Shanny is losing it I’m afraid.
