Could that have been Kirk Cousins extension? Maybe the 49ers heard Cousins was going to accept an extension, so they decided to stick with Jimmy.

The Cap going up big time next year because of the new TV Deals could be very good for us! We might be able to keep all our key guys. Remember in 2016-2017 the NBA got their new TV deals and the cap jumped $24mil that summer. I imagine the NFL deals are way more lucrative!
