Too ambitious

I can't wait till we get past this phase. People are going to complain no matter who he picks

This isn’t anything new. The “market” always knows before the public does, and people always get rich off of it. I agree though SEC needs to investigate this rampant inside trading, but they never really have and never really will. Unfortunately.

it's less of "market knows before the public" and more of "the federal government gave kodak, a camera company who went bankrupt, 765 million tax payer dollars to try their hand in the pharmaceutical market and the CEO of kodak allegedly purchased 47k shares of kodak stock a month ago (roughly a 1.5M gain in worth) and we've already seen members of congress, who likely had insider information about COVID before the general public did, offload their financial positions right before the market crashed" thing.

this goes beyond your typical insider trading allegations. this is full on government corruption.

Interesting it was a month ago but were these just options he exercised? I’m not sure of Kodak’s financial schedule but I’d like to think they have a preferred trading window for executives during which he made this transaction. I also wonder if they were close to expiring and their strike price.

admittedly, I don't know the answers to these questions. That's why I prefaced that he allegedly purchased 47k shares. However, the fact that Kodak got 765m should be sending up all sorts of alarms.

I don't want it to be symbolic. But I understand that it probably will not pass under a Biden presidency.

So, yes.

Someone who is enjoying 80% (or more) of the black vote, and running on being the VP to the first black president can at least: 1. Choose a black running mate, and 2. propose a robust plan for reparations for black descendants of slaves in America.

This seemed clear in my prior answer, but hopefully that takes away any ambiguity and is direct enough.
So wait, Biden can't just support a watered down criminal justice bill and call it a day?

If any MAGA goes to a pharmacy to buy some hydroxychloroquine they should be required to spell it from memory and if they spell it wrong, no sale. That should keep the Trump army from getting their hands on any.
